Honestly, this is one prompt that made to start thinking of the unknown that can happen in one’s life unexpectedly. Finding myself in an environment I don’t know anything about? No friends, no loved 🥰 ones and no family to count on even without money 💰. Can I really survive a situation like this and for how long?

I feel this is a scary 😟 situation that I will not want to experience to start with because life is already very tough even with the little we have. But this “IF” is one thing that comes from the Unkown since life is also uncertain which is why we humans needs to constantly prayer 🙏 that God never allow what we can’t handle in life comes to us. In fact , I have quickly prayed that God should never let something like this occur in my life nor my family, loved ones and friends to experience this kind of situation.

Truly, surviving in a strange environment is not going to be an easy one for me no matter what kind of course I studied, the skills I have become this is a place I don’t know anything about including the people, their culture, language and crowning it all with no money. But this is not even the case now, the case is that I have found myself in such a place.

What To Start With:

First thing I will do is to look for who to talk to in anyway I can communicate since I don’t have any money 💰 with me , and at the same time trying to see how to adapt with my unexpected situation. Adaptation in new environments is the most important thing to do especially without any visible option in place. Although it’s going to be hard, but without making adaptation a priority, one will not have the focus to make necessary moves that can help in the present situation.

My communication mostly will be for the purpose of having a place to stay for few weeks and immediately will start looking for any kind of physical work that will help me earn to start life in my new environment. Again , communicating with the people , I will try to let them know the skills that I have , which is another way to start earning in the environment.

While trying the two already mentioned means of immediate source of survival, I will also look for how to borrow little amount of money 💰 that I will need to start some petty trade of any kind if the other two has not materialized. So with these three in place, I will go for anyone that comes first because in a strange environment where you don’t have to rely on people to start feeding you or helping out for a longer period.

And then while still adapting, I will also watch the environment to know the kind of trade , work or skill that moves faster in the environment. I mean, what I can also start to learn that can help me connect with people quickly because some environment are known for certain kinds of businesses. This is another way to help me learn something new either physically or online with technology in place , one can create contents like we do here on Hive. And I think online will be very helpful if I find any.

However, it’s never going to be easy seeing myself in a new place. How about family, friends and loved 🥰 ones? This is another area where I will have problem because apart from wanting to adapt in the new environment, I will really miss my family and loved ones. This indeed will leave me feeling lonely 😞 , but I will want to start connecting with people to keep myself busy while finding a way to move on . The most important here is to stay positive and fight for a better future which I know will surely come with hard work. Life is never a bed of roses 🌹.
