This last Wednesday happened to be a busy day for me, so I had to consider my plans based on their importance. Apparently I was free from school activities, but I had a lot of other activities set down. The first activity was planning presentation slides for a seminar topic I would be taking on Saturday. This topic is titled "Introduction to Data Science," and I will be teaching people what they need to know about data science.
This activity is very important to me as it involves me planning ahead for the seminar and making it easier for me to be done with the slides in time. Also, I would have to go through the slides before the seminar day so that I could easily lecture on the topic.
Impacting knowledge to people is something I love doing, and this seminar has given me the medium to do so. Although I would be teaching, at the same time, I am learning so much as it is forcing me to seek a deeper understanding of things I know so that I can express them in simple terms.
This last Wednesday was matriculation day in my school, and I have two cousins who celebrated their matriculation that day. I had to skip the slides I was working on so that I could visit my cousins during their matriculation. I had plans to take them out when I get there since non of their parents would be around for them, as I would be the only one close to family for them.
I was able to make it to the matriculation and found out that only one of them attended the event. I had to call my other cousin to inform him about my plans to take them to a restaurant to eat, but he was not present. So I told him where I planned on taking them, and we met at the place. Before going there, I made sure to take some pictures with Paul (one of my cousins celebrating his matric). He was with his friends, and I helped take pictures of him and his friends.
We met at the restaurant, but it was full, It wasn't a really big restaurant, so we had to order a takeout package. Paul went back to the matriculation ground to meet his friends with his food package, while Elisha decided to accompany me to my place.
I used the opportunity to have a short conversation with Elisha to learn about his plans after school and what skills he was building. I gave him the advice that he should start planning his life after school so that he would not be worried about it when the time came. He has 3 years ahead of him before he finishes school, so there is enough time for him to think about what I discussed with him.
I had a church service to attend so I did not spend lots of time with Elisha before leaving him and at the same time, I had Hive Learners X Podcast by 3 p.m. while the church activity was 4 p.m. and I would be done 7 p.m.
I made sure I was in church before 3 p.m. to begin the X Podcast in time and had to end the podcast exactly by 4 p.m. so that I could start my activities in the church. For the church activities, we needed to have a rehearsal between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. as the Wednesday evening service started by 5 p.m. on the dot. It was a very powerful and wonderful time in God's presence.
I got home very late because I could not quickly get a cab to take me home. I was so tired, and then I remembered some of the things I needed to do on Discord, but I was drained and had little strength to do anything.
I was so tired that it felt like I should sleep, but I couldn't because I thought of all the things I had not done. At the same time, I was so exhausted that getting up from bed to do anything was not as easy as it sounds. I stayed laying on the bed till I finally passed out.
Oh Man, the Lord is your strength.
omoor bro.. thank you oh!
Wow, what a Wednesday in the life of starstrings. You acted like a big brother to those your cousins and that's very nice of you. They have you already in school, so I hope you will keep guiding them before you finally leave the school. You sure had a lot on your table last Wednesday and glad it was a fruitful day
