My expensive property

Greetings!

One thing that cannot be taken out from our living is our expenses. There's no way we would be able to live as humans without spending on one thing or the other.

On many occasions, I have always been like I will not spend on a particular thing or project as I would have loved to see my money intact in my bank account or any other places I might have preferred to keep the money.

But on the other hand, I realized that if such a practice is what I would prefer then to move forward or do well in life would be kind of hard or difficult as money spent is money recovered.

Having said so much about money and expenditure, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt before me which is, “expensive.”

One thing that I got in the past year that's very expensive is my landed property, a plot of land at a very good location. When I was first told about the availability of the land at the said location, I was happy to have been told about the land, but when the price of the land was released to me, I was at first lost interest in the plot of land as what i have budgeted for was not even half of the price I was being told.

This development really got to me as I would have loved to get the land and this is simply because I love landed property as it would always appreciate and not diminish.

Apart from the fact that it can be used for building my own apartment, this said land is also good for commercial or business purposes as it would surely fetch me more money if left for a number of years, but how would I raise the money for this landed property?

When I realized that it would be kind of difficult for me to raise the money by myself, I went to a friend and told him about my plight and plan to get this landed property. After my discussion with this my good friend, Shola by name, he promised to help me raise more fund for the purpose of getting the property and lo and behold, this very sure friend of mine helped me in raising the fund and I later got the property which was situated in a very good location at the double rate of what I have budgeted for at the initial which made it more expensive than I would have thought.

After I have got the property, I thanked my friend for helping me through and promised him to refund him the money he had raised for me and not quite long, I got a contract worth more than what he had raised for me and return his money, but thank God he had helped me secured the property at the first place.

Now, I'm a proud owner of the property and I can boldly say that I'm happy to have secured the landed property and if there's such an opportunity elsewhere I would go for it anytime anyday.
