My Introductory Post

Hello people of Hive. I’m super excited to be here. My name is Elvis Ekeh, I hail from Imo State, Nigerian. I come from the family of 5, and I am the third child. I’m blessed to have Mr and Mrs Emmanuel Ekeh as my parents.

I completed my Higher Institution from the University of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike in Abia State with a Bachelor in Science degree in Computer Science. But where my passion really lies is in music. I’ve been in love with music longer than I can remember. I roll a lot with the likes of M.I Abaga, Eminem, NF, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. I also love listening to Sia, Aurora, Tones & I.

I do aspire to be a superstar someday though. But for now I am a corper in Edo state, awaiting my Place of Primary Assignment in a few days to go. It’s been a very hectic 16 days experience but it’s also been though. I really appreciate the NYSC initiative. For one, it gave me a chance to visit Edo State for the first time and experience a bit of their culture. I believe there’s still much more to experience when I commence the service proper.

I am part of the Orientation Broadcasting Service (OBS) crew in camp. I take pictures of events that go on and also some of the lectures we have. My love for photography started my fellowship in school way back in 2021. Funny thing, I initially joined the multi media team with the intention of going into graphic design. But one day after i returned from holidays my boss who was also a member in the multi media crew just handed me a camera and I asked me to go snapping, and that’s how I fell in love with photography.

Right now, I’m just focused on completing the remaining days left in this orientation camp so I can have some days for quality rest because it’s been really exhausting. And after that, move unto the next phase and also create time for blogging in this platform. Thank you guys, ciao.
