Many have memories of some magical Christmas they have experienced in their lives, one of the magical aspects being the mystery of the presents. Memories of a Magical Christmas!

I don't know about you, but I have a slight impression and feeling that in the past, a few years ago, Christmas had what many know as the "magic of Christmas" in a very present and striking way, which ended up slowly disappearing over the years. When I talk about the term "Christmas magic," I'm referring to the magical moment that Christmas represented for all of us, a gathering of a large part of the family, a moment filled with joy, and of course, for the children, all the Christmas mysticism surrounding the delivery of presents and how Santa Claus arrives at their homes without them even noticing.

An example of a magical Christmas for me, and I believe something similar must have happened to many of you, was the big question about the Christmas present. One Christmas, when I was little, the Christmas present appeared on the Christmas tree without me noticing, and it's very curious because I wondered how that was possible. The surprise and the "magic" come from the fact that at the time I already had doubts about who could be "Santa Claus," that is, whose present one one of the adults would approach the Christmas tree and put in.

Precisely because of that, I attentively observed each of the people who were there and wondered if someone would approach to put in the present. The ending of the story is the most magical part of Christmas. I don't know how, but what I do know is that even watching carefully, I didn't notice anyone approaching, and when it was time to check the presents, they were simply there. M-A-G-I-C!

Will We Have the Magic of Christmas in the Future?

After a story about the magic of Christmas, I raise the following question: In the future, will we still have the magic of Christmas present in our memories? Many say that technology has arrived to break down barriers and shorten distances. Today it is possible to talk to someone on the other side of the world with minimal delay, cross the ocean, order something from another country and have it arrive in a few days. We are more connected to the world than ever, but what about ourselves?

While technology has brought benefits, I ask you if you don't also agree that today the longest distances seem shorter and the shortest distances seem longer. Families seem more distant, and the concern that existed in the past with the whole issue of Christmas magic is almost lost. On Christmas Eve, gifts are given without any ceremony in many cases.

One example of a company that embodied the Christmas spirit and was impacted by technological advancements was Coca-Cola. This year, they made a commercial, which already has almost 2 million views, using Artificial Intelligence to generate the video. According to the comments, the idea ended up having a very negative effect, with people saying "I miss the pre-AI era," "dystopian."

The great irony is that you can't find a single positive comment, and the name of the AI used is "Real Magic." And according to people, the commercial was anything but magical. Hence the question: "Will we have the Magic of Christmas in the Future?", or has that era already passed?

Memórias de um Natal Mágico!

Não sei vocês, mas eu tenho uma leve impressão e sentimento de que no passado, à alguns anos atrás, o Natal tinha o que muitos conhecem como a “magia de natal” de forma muito presente e marcante, que acabou desaparecendo lentamente ao longo dos anos. Quando falo sobre esse termo “magia de natal” me refiro ao momento mágico que o natal representava para todos nós, como uma reunião de grande parte da família, um momento recheado de alegria e claro para as crianças todo o misticismo natalino sobre a entrega dos presentes e como o papai noel chega nas casas sem elas nem repararem.

Um exemplo de um natal mágico para mim, e mais uma vez acredito que para muitos de vocês deve ter acontecido algo similiar, foi o grande questionamento sobre o: Presente de NATAL. Em um certo natal, quando era pequeno, o presente de natal apareceu na árvore de natal sem eu perceber, e é muito curioso porque eu me perguntava como aquilo era possível. A surpresa e a “magia” vem do fato de que na época eu já tinha me dúvida sobre quem poderia ser “Noel”, ou seja, de quem algum dos adultos se aproximaria da árvore de natal e colocaria o presente.

Exatamente por conta disso, fiquei atentamente observando cada uma das pessoas que estavam por ali e me perguntando se alguém se aproximaria para colocar o presente. O final da história que é a parte mais mágica do natal. Não sei como, mas o que eu sei é que mesmo observando com atenção, não consegui notar ninguém se aproximando e na hora de conferir os presentes, eles simplesmente estavam lá. M-A-G-I-C!

Teremos a Magia do Natal Futuramente?

Depois de uma história sobre a magia do natal, trago o seguinte questionamento: No Futuro teremos a magia do natal presente nas memórias? Muitos dizem que a tecnologia chegou para acabar com as barreiras e encurtar distâncias. Hoje é possível falar com alguém do outro lado do mundo com delay mínimo, atravessa o oceano, pedir algo de outro país e chegar em alguns dias. Estamos mais conectados com o mundo do que nunca, mas e com nós mesmos?

Por mais que a tecnologia trouxe benefícios, lhe pergunto se você também não concorda que hoje as distâncias mais longas estão mais curtas e as distâncias mais curtas estão mais longas. As famílias parecem mais distâncias e a preocupação que existia no passado com toda a questão da magia de natal está quase se perdendo. Na noite de natal, presentes são entregues sem mais nenhum tipo de cerimônia em muitos casos.

Um dos exemplos de empresas que incorporava o espírirto natalino e foi impactada pelo avanço da tecnologia foi a Coca. Esse ano, ela fez um cormercial, que já tem quase 2 milhões de visualizações, utilizando Inteligência Artificial para gerar o vídeo. A ideia de acordo com os comentários acabou tendo um efeito bem negativo, com pessoas dizendo “sinto falta da época de antes da IA”, “distópico”.

A grande ironia é que você não encontra um comentário positivo e o nome da IA utilizada se chama “Real Magic”. E de acordo com as pessoas, o comercial foi tudo menos mágico. Por isso o questionamento: “Teremos a Magia do Natal Futuramente?”, ou essa época já passou?
