Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog. For this Hive Learner Contest, We got the challenge to talk about one infrastructure that are not provided in our local area which is important but is forgotten. Here is my thought !

Water As The Very Important Things

A clean water is very important aspect in our daily life. We need the water to wash our foods, cooks, as well washing the plate, spoon, or glasses. We also need clean water for take a bath and wash our clothes. And what the most important thing is to wash after the pee or poop, because it is the most effective and clean ways to wash them as fas as I know. Let's not forget that water is needed as well for water the plant or drink for the animals. There is so many things that the water could offer and most of them is irreplaceable.
As a husband and father, I realize that water is soo important because the care for little kids is need more attention than adults. We could not taking bath for 2 days, but the children can't, because I lived on a place with relatively hot weather, and the childrens are just often getting wet after playing, which later could cause a skin problem and makes them feels itchy so bad.

Clean Water Are Not Provided By the Government In My Location

Unluckily, the working and living area in my current location are not provided a clean water by the government, because we are not on the mainland of Batam. Here is the maps of Batam city, and the one with the pin is my living location. It's apart from the mainland, but is connected by a bridge. The reason for water are not reaching our location is because the installation of the water connection is not here yet. And if my working place want the water provided to be here, we need to pay a lot of money, which can't be afforded by my office.

Water Truck Is Short Term Solution

Buy the water from a seller and deliver them with a water truck is the current solution. But I think this is not a great long term solution, because the cost for the water is higher than the one that provided by the government. We also become depended with the seller rather than the government. I think we should have the right to get the clean water, and this problem should be solved soon. I'm not agree with the way they treat people outside the mainland, which need to pay for the water installation that much. It should be the government responsibility, because we are the same people that pay the tax as well.

Save Water, And Other Resource You Are Enjoy Right Know

When we get the resource easily, we are often forget how important they ware. Wether it's water, electricy, foods, etc. I want to remind myself and my hive friends to always use the resource wisely. Don't waste them, because it's belong to everybody, even if the money is yours, I belive the resource is belong to everyone. Don't wait till it's no longer available, and start use them wisely !
