THE TALE OF SHINA RAMBO…

The rate at which criminals go around getting themselves involved in different criminal activities is quite high now, we are no longer safe in our society, how bad can and would this get. We now live in an era where we have constantly look over our shoulders to be safe from harm and dangers, and the moment we lose our guard the faster we end up getting victimized by these criminals. I am just so unhappy at how far things have gotten bad, not only this country but in the whole world at large, something needs to be done about, and it has to be swift and thorough…

If you’ve been on my blog for quite some time now you’d have noticed the fact that i have been talking about a particular American series I’ve just concluded. I finished seeing PRISON BREAK last week, and if I’m not to lie to myself about it, I actually kind of loved T-bag more, not because of his psychopathic nature but because of his brain, I couldn’t really blame for turning out bad and that was as a result of the trauma he suffered from his father in his childhood, there’s also JOHN ABRUZZI, the killer boy…

The point of saying all this is not give credibility to criminals and their criminal activities but to remind y’all of the fact that all the criminal activities done in that particular series had the involvement of the people in POWER, especially the governments officials and the supposed leaders of the country, they had almost all the government officials in the lower and higher ranks in their cabal and these people sanction their criminal activities like it’s not a crime…

I understand the fact that all these happened in a movie and that it is far from being real. We have so many human beings with psychopathic nature in the modern world today, this is not written on the forehead, these people live closer to us than we think but because they can hide it well doesn’t make them a threat to the world, some get caught while some don’t…

The funniest thing is that I can’t literally pinpoint where all these came from, the fact that some real life criminals get a movies made about them doesn’t really contribute to them being a big criminal…

Shina Rambo is the best character to be used as example in this topic. I came into this world with so many tales to be heard about the once upon a time popular bandit and armed robber SHINA RAMBO. According to various sources and online research made by me those years, I discovered a couple of facts about him which i say if it was true or not, I wasn’t born at the time he was terrorizing the country, I only read articles and heard of his stories…

He terrorized the country big time and was eventually caught after many years of terrorism. I never knew he survived death after everything he had done to harm the country, not until years ago when i found out he was released to the world again after becoming a PASTOR. This was shocking to me big time, I thought someone like that would have been killed on the spot but then i was suprised to find out he only served his sentence and was released later on after he became a pastor, my dad even attested to this information. This information is everywhere on the internet. I guess he was given a second chance by God…

The story of Shina Rambo was written and directed as a movie and many people in world watched it. I can’t blame the nollywood producers for producing such a movie, at the end of the day they were trying to share the story of the well known notorious arm robber who later became a man of God to the world. I don’t think they are promoting crime in that aspect, they were just trying to pass a good message across, which some people chose to pick up the bad message…

They wanted to reform those with criminal intent and to also let the world know that no one above the hands of God and the law, but then some people just willingly choose to pick the bad examples while using the movie as an inspiration to do more crime…

Who is to be blamed, the ones who tried to reform those with criminal mindsets by producing a movie that shows the end of every criminal or those who refuse to learn the lessons and choose to become a criminal after the movie…

In summary, i don’t agree with the fact that these acts have helped increase the rate of crimes in the society. Any man who becomes a criminal after these movies already had it in them and just needed the movie as an excuse to do more crime…

In conclusion, I don’t think these movies contribute to the rate of crimes in the society, life might or might not be better even after movies are made cleaner and has no element of crime. What people want to do is what they will do with or without an inspiration from these movies…

I remember prison break. It aired while I was in prison and was popularized inside to watch. Always had the entire tank watching it. I sat back and read whatever book was available. I could not watch TV while inside at all. Felt like it would make me insane if I did. So I avoided it as much as possible.

But the talks of it afterwards none could simply ignore.

So from that I could get what you mean by it in reference to real life. It is exactly that way. Slot of corruption everywhere. No "government" institution is trust worthy.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard if this Rambo guy before. But I feel sometimes the movies are all about crime and no lessons to be learnt. It’s more like teaching the youth how to commit crimes and get away with them. Or maybe we are just understanding it the wrong way.

I believe that this kind of influence only really affects those who are already inclined to become criminals. Normal people are not encouraged by any act.
