The cost of clicks

Everyone knows how hard it is for people to get a job nowadays and that has put a lot of people in a bad spot in their lives, even with their good certificates people still suffer to get a job and even those who has the job still seem like a jobless people because the salary they earned is not enough for them.

Social media on the other hand has helped a lot of people in every aspect of their lives because social media has made it so easy for people to promote their jobs, it provides works for others and of course it put food on their table so let’s just say social media has reduced the jobless population people in the world because if not for social media some content creators will be on the road selling something while some would have deep their hands into a dirty jobs.

All thanks to social media for the monetizing ideas because it has helped millions of people all over the world; they make money without leaving their comfort zones, which is a good thing. People get to earn from posting their daily lifestyle, creating content, and advertising their work on social media. Most people that earn on social media are now richer than those who work their ass off on a daily basis.

Then, some people misused the opportunity that social media has given to them because of some fake news and bad videos that have posted, all in the name of making money from social media.

I saw a video of a girl; she was on live with a guy in different locations. They were both young, and the guy asked the girl to lift up her top so that he would give her some amount of money, and the girl agreed to do what the guy said; she lifted her top without wearing a bra under the top. She automatically brought her breast outside on a live video on the social media because she wanted to get enough followers and earn on social media at all costs.

These are the bad things people do on social media because they want to monetize their accounts. But then I wouldn’t say it is a bad thing the way social media monetizes their platforms for people to earn; it is people who misuse the opportunity given to them because it is not everyone that posts bad stuff or unspeakable things to earn; there are people who advertise their businesses, work, and also help people to advertise to get paid.

I think it’s high time social media platforms filter all the bad content creators that misuse the opportunity given to them, and of course those who promote fake news too should be banned because if they end up destroying the platform, the good content creators would be the ones to suffer it most, and it will also make a lot of people jobless again, which might not be good in the present situation the world is in now.
