Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Hive-Learners, which says: "The Ember Months". So let's dive in.
It has been a long time since I last posted in this community, but I'm happy to be back. So let me get straight to today's topic.
Honestly, this year came with ups and downs, and sometimes I still wonder how fast it went. I can still remember as if it was just yesterday when we all shouted “Happy New Year,” and now the year is already coming to an end.
Looking back, I can say this year has taught me so many lessons. Some goals I set at the beginning of the year I was able to achieve some, while others are still yet to be achieved. But in all, I am grateful to God because no matter what, I can still count my blessings. This year has not been easy for me at all.
For me, I will say this 2025 has been like a mixture of both sweet and bitter experiences. I had moments of happiness, laughter, and things I achieved that made me proud of myself. At the same time, I also faced challenges that wanted to break me, but I thank God I was able to face them. That’s exactly how life is. We can’t expect everything to be smooth or perfect.
When it comes to my goals, I can’t say I achieved everything I planned, but I tried my best. At the start of the year, I told myself I wanted to improve in my academics and also work on my personal growth. Academically, I tried my best, even though it wasn’t easy, but I’m glad I’m still moving forward. For my personal growth, I also made some progress.
Despite all the goals I achieve there's still some goals I didn't achieve. For example, I plan to cut down my spending this year but yet I couldn't achieve it to my satisfaction, I just know that as soon money comes it just disappeared that I couldn't explain.
Now that we are in the last quarter of the year, I told myself, "What more can I still achieve before the end of the year?” so I told myself I won't let this year go in waste. That’s why I told my sisters that after I finish my second semester exams at the end of this month, I’ll be going to my second eldest sister @princessbusayo place to continue my fashion learning work. I want to improve in it so that by the end of the year, I will know I achieved something. I also believe the fashion skill will help me in the future.
Honestly, I’m not just waiting for this year to be over so that 2026 can begin. Yes, I am looking forward to year 2026, but I also don’t want to ignore the time left in this year.
So, as 2025 is slowly coming to an end, I am choosing gratitude. I’m grateful for all that God has done for me from the beginning of the year until now. The journey hasn’t been easy, but God has shown me His way by making the journey less stressful for me.
In conclusion, I will keep pushing, keep praying, and keep believing that the best is yet to come. 2025 may not have been perfect, but I’m grateful for all what I achieved.

Many unexpected things happen in life, so it can't be helped if you did not manage to reach all your goals. What's important is that you try to grow and improve yourself.
Yes, I'm glad I'm able to achieve some of my goals even though I didn't achieve all yet.
