Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Hive-Learners, which says:The Cost of Ease. So let’s dive in.
Honestly, the world today is moving faster than ever and feels so easy. We don’t really have to stress ourselves too much before getting things done. With just our phones alone, we can write, create, and design. Truth is, it’s convenient and even enjoyable sometimes, and that’s why we use it. But deep down, the question is: Are we becoming too comfortable? And if the answer is yes, is that comfort quietly taking away our creativity?
Honestly, technology is not the problem. If anything, it shows how creative we humans can be. But the way we now depend on it is where the issue comes in. Truth is, it has become a normal thing for us to look for shortcuts. We like things that will be easy for us, not difficult. Instead of sitting down to think things through, we just love looking for the fastest way to get results. And when we keep doing that, we don’t really give our minds the chance to work the way they should.
Before the existence of technology, creating something meaningful took time and effort. People had to sit with their ideas, struggle with whether those ideas were good or not, and sometimes even start over if they weren’t. Writers had to rewrite things multiple times to get them right, and many other things like that. Yes, the process may have been tiring, and people would have been fed up doing things again and again, but it helped them grow and think more deeply. But now, most of that process can be skipped. It may sound like a good thing, but it also takes away that part where creativity is built.

To me, I don’t believe that creativity has disappeared. It’s still there; it just depends on how we choose to use what we have. We still have people who put in the effort to think for themselves and only use technology as support. They already have their ideas; they just use tools to make things easier or better. That happens to me most times, I already have the idea, I just use tools to help improve it. That alone shows that creativity is still alive.
Truth is, to me, I see nothing wrong with using technology, but we shouldn’t let it take over our thinking. Sometimes, it’s important to try and make sure we do our best. Even if what we come up with is not perfect, at least it came from us, and that effort matters.
In conclusion, ease is not bad. In fact, it has made life better in many ways. But too much of it can make us lazy without even realizing it. So to me, I think it’s about being mindful. We should use what is available, but we should not forget to use our own minds too. Our thoughts and our ideas are still what make everything we create truly ours.

You nailed it ma'am..
It is not bad, but it shouldn't come at the expense of our own thinking and creativity. A lot of people already depends on this tools and forget they even have a brain of their own.
Thanks for sharing.
