Today in the contest it has been said that what is the most expensive thing you have bought in the last one year. Meaning, on what thing have you spent the most in a year and here it is also asked whether the expenditure you have made was right or wrong. If you get a chance to spend the same amount again, will you spend it? In this way, I will share my experience of the expenses I have incurred in the last one year through a post here.

Most expensive thing – Laptop

I have never spent any money on myself. If I spend money on something, it's only if that thing will benefit me. I bought a laptop last year, which cost around 61,000 rupees. This laptop is very useful for my office work, and especially for writing my Hive posts. Previously, I used to write posts on my mobile phone, but that took a very long time and was quite difficult. So I decided I needed to get a laptop. I bought it on EMI using my credit card. Now, I can get a lot of work done with my laptop. My brother sometimes takes it to his office. Before, it used to take me about 3-4 hours to write a post on Hive, but after getting the laptop, I can write a post in about an hour, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Was this expense really justified?

Yes, I can say that this expense was absolutely justified for me. How come - buying my laptop has started taking less time for my hive posts. Now I can learn something new. Instead of it taking me 3 hours, now I can write a post in just 1 hour. Very good work is coming in my office hours. Earlier I had to ask the office staff to give me a laptop so that I could create some files, but now it is very good for me that I no longer have to ask for a laptop from anyone and I can do my work very well. So in terms of the expenditure that I have made on the laptop, I would say that my decision was right. My biggest advantage is that I can manage my time very well. I used to stay up very late at night while writing posts, now I can sleep early or learn something new.

Would I spend money on this again?

I cannot buy a new laptop every year, but yes, if I get a chance and need it again, I will not hesitate to spend again. Because laptop has given me a lot of benefits. My time has been saved. Has helped me in completing my work quickly. When my laptop has given me profits everywhere, then why should I think about such expenses? If I have to buy the laptop back next year, I will buy the laptop back. Spend in such a way that you can get it back, that is, the money spent should give you something in such a way that you get profit in return of that expenditure. That's why I would say that if I have to spend like this again, I will definitely do it.

Conclusion

It is right to spend but think about whether I am getting any benefit from what I am spending. If you are getting benefit then spend it. I bought a laptop, I got a lot of benefits from it, so I am very happy with that expenditure, but your expenditure is such an expenditure which does not benefit you and it is something for your enjoyment, so your money has been wasted, so wherever you are spending it, do it wisely.
