Slavery in Disguise.

People are like, 'Thank goodness they weren't born in those days that people used each other for slavery.' Often said how brutal this slave trade was back then, and this was common in the old days. I can't imagine how brutal that can be. But then we have seen stories about the slave trade and the no return. Chains have been tied to them, and so on. But then the real question is, has the slave trade truly ended as it's claimed to have ended? Or is it that the slave trade has been modernized to another way entirely? The fact is that slave trade has never stopped; it has just been modernized because this time around they don't use chains to tie each other, but they use something else entirely.

It's so deadly, just like before, and the fact is that people will not even notice because they will think you are doing well. Some examples of nowadays slavery are being forced to do things, be it labor. Some people are doing lots of work or labor based on slavery. One of them is debts; for instance, you borrowed money from someone, and you need to pay the money by all means, and you are looking for the money by all means, and doing what you don't like doing is also part of slavery. I have been there before, and I can say how brutal that can be; you will not have peace of mind, and you can even lose yourself. You will be mentally exhausted and so on. Debt is one of the biggest forms of slavery in these modern days, and it's common everywhere.

Anytime I'm in debt, I find all means to pay the money and do any kinds of jobs just to make sure it's been paid. Another modern slavery is human trafficking. This is so common nowadays; people will promise to take you out of your country to a place you don't know, thinking they want to help you to escape poverty, but deep down it's nothing but human trafficking.

I have seen a scenario where a guy took his girlfriend to another country just because they wanted to go there and get a better life. Not known to the lady is that the man has another plan entirely for her. Until she got there and he started using her for all kinds of jobs, prostitution and all kinds of jobs. Human trafficking is so real because people are poor, and they want to escape poverty, and to escape this poverty, they find themselves in a place or situation where they will serve another person. Slavery is in many forms, but regardless of how you call it.

It's still slavery; the moment you are doing something and you don't have any peace of mind, then you have been captured. The question is, can slavery be eradicated in the society? I believe not because slavery is part of the system, and many people and countries are even poor. It will be so hard for slavery to be eradicated in the society, even in advanced countries.

To my own opinion, I don't think debt is slavary as long as you pay on time. It becomes a slavary if the interest is too much to pay back.
