Mastering public speaking in 30 days.

Talking about the skills I can learn in a month, there are so many skills in my head that I think I can learn in a month. I would have said phone engineering. That is because I know I had some basic knowledge even before I learnt it then. I'm this kind of person that knows how to learn very hard, especially when I'm learning something I like to learn. But using one month to learn phone engineering might not be feasible, because there is a lot to learn, and even if you are a genius, you can't complete both hardware and software in a month. These are more reasons I said it's not feasible.

It will take me some months to finish that. Only if I want to learn the basics can I say for a month. The feasible skill I can learn and be perfect at is only public speaking; this is because public speaking doesn't require much – well, you need to be courageous to learn this. Talking about public speaking, I can achieve this for a good month. So why am I choosing public speaking? I believe public speaking is one of the skills that each and every one of us needs to have in our lives; this is because it happens to each and every one of us. What we do, where we go, who we meet and so on.

Public speaking will build your confidence in everything. To be a public speaker, we need to be able to face the crowds. Most people fail in life just because they cannot face the crowds and be able to talk; some go to the extent that when they face the crowds, they start shaking. To be able to survive in every field, you must be able to face people and talk.

Meanwhile, public speaking will also give you confidence to speak well; for instance, some people are so brilliant but can't face crowds and can't talk when being interviewed. In fact, some are not so good educationally, but they can easily face the crowds and speak so well everyone will be convinced to hire them. Public speaking will give you ability in so many places; in meetings, your speaking skills will be good. You can be so good at writing but be so poor at communicating.

Also, public speaking will be able to allow you to excel everywhere you find yourself. In summary, the only feasible thing for me is public speaking, and that's because it deals with our everyday life. I have seen people fail because of fear, and that is because they cannot face the crowds.

I could remember very well I used to have a fear of crowds; this made me lose a lot then. Meanwhile, as time goes on, I need to summon the courage before it's too late. Seeing lots of people then looks like hell, and this makes me cry a lot. I would have picked another skill, like crochet,because I have basic knowledge about it, but none will be like public speaking.
