A Lesson I Will Never Forget.

There was this time I was in the university back then, and honestly, the way I used to hear people making money online used to amaze me. I honestly want to make money online without stress. Back then I was so poor; in fact, poor is an understatement. So I always try every possible way to make money.

I could remember traveling from one state to another just because I needed to learn how to make some money. Meanwhile, anywhere I meet myself, they always ask me

to drop some certain amount of money, and at the end of the day, if I invest, I will not get any returns. I have been getting scammed, but I do not really pay attention to it, or should I say I don't really think much of it.

But the one that pains me the most and I can't forget is the scam that I almost believed in. You know, I said I have been getting scammed before, but this one is something I can't ever forget. Why is it? Because it doesn't look like a scam to me. It's an investment program whereby you will invest some amount of money into a crypto organization, and in two weeks or a month you will cash out and get back your money with interest. The higher the money you put in, the higher the interest.

When I was told, I did not believe in it because of the past experiences. But the person who told me about it invested, and I waited for the person to cash out after two weeks, which she actually did. This makes me so happy, and I thought I'd seen everything I'm looking for. Since I've seen proof. I immediately start looking for money; that time happens to be the period I don't have anything with me. But because I know I will be rich in two weeks, I called my parents, called all my family, and borrowed money from them.

My sister was telling me she needed the money for her school fees, but I only told her it will be returned in two weeks' time. So she trusted me and gave it to me; to cut the long story short, I bought some crypto and invested. But it was all a scam from the beginning. I fell victim and lost everything.

I can't forget about it because it's not even my money. When I realized I had lost the money, I was so sick because I borrowed from a lot of people then, I struggled to repay the money, and I couldn't even recover the money. It cost my family not to trust me again, although they knew I was scammed, but it still caused a conflict among us all.

In summary, that scam goes a long way and teaches me a lot back then. It took me a lot of time to recover fully; in fact, at some point I couldn't pay up the money. They had to let go of it for me, and I was so embarrassed. And since then I stopped all these petty investments and always know the root of what I'm about to do.
