However, we know that the barrier to entry for this technology still poses some challenges, especially in terms of knowledge, and I believe that when this is overcome, cryptocurrencies, or at least blockchain technology, will be widely adopted.

For this to happen, one thing needs to be done: teaching. Teaching older people would probably be a waste of time, since many are resistant to change and prefer things as they are. So we must look to the next generations. Aiming for an even more promising future and the imminent adoption of blockchain technology, the right thing to do would indeed be to teach this in schools. Why not? Just as teaching first aid, management, accounting, and finance is important, there could be a branch within finance to talk a little more about this modern marvel that will be part of these children's lives a few years later: cryptocurrencies.

I believe that if we really want humanity to evolve, it is our duty to prepare the next generations. Here in Brazil, for example, we have a type of transfer called PIX. It is a type of technology that uses exactly the same logic as blockchains, where you enter a key as the destination and make the transfer. Simple. With mass adoption and used, I would say, by 90% or more of Brazilians, they use the same technological basis as a blockchain, but if we talk about cryptocurrencies to them, well, they will think it is something completely incomprehensible.

I think about these things when I look at my son, who already has some knowledge about cryptocurrencies, investing, saving money in the right place, and what happens when we do it smartly. But does he know this because he is a prodigy, a genius, or because he was taught from an early age? A 14-year-old boy knows much more than perhaps a 50-year-old man on this subject. And not just because of my influence, but also because of the dissemination of this knowledge that is being talked about on the internet, which, by the way, is the new playground for this generation.

So it's only a matter of time, but teaching does need to be done so that the right knowledge is instilled in this new generation, and not myths, fears, and false or misleading information. I believe that knowledge about important subjects with great potential should be taught from the very beginning, and school is the best way to do that. Perhaps even a reformulation of the type of knowledge and subjects needs to be reviewed, because if society evolves and teaching remains the same as it was a hundred years ago, something is wrong. Therefore, we need to adapt to the current reality.
