Have A Good Work/Life Balance To Avoid Burnout

They say if you love what you do, you'd never get tired of it. Even couples sometimes get tired of each other and then they decide to either go on a vacation or they go for a break to reset and at the end of the day, they still come back to face their marriage but with a clear head.
I've worked in a couple of places and I can boldly say this, that your dream job or dream career might become boring if you don't strike a balance. Overworking without having time for yourself, doing thesame thing over and over again everyday might make work boring and tiring.

Before I started working at the bakery some years ago, working in a place like that was always something I wanted to atleast experience in my lifetime. It was fun at the beginning, but as time went by, it started to become boring and tiring. I would go to work by 6am everyday and return home around past 10pm or 11pm at night everyday including Sundays, now I'm sure you're wondering how I managed to cope... I would wash my clothes at night Saturday breaking Sunday and then After service, I would quickly rush to work. The only difference was that I closed around 8pm on Sundays. I was always tired and the thought of going to work the next day was very scary.
The job I used to look forward to at the beginning became really tiring for me a few weeks after. I didn't have time for myself and other activities. I was so worn out that my sis would even ask me to quit on most days lol.

I became really discouraged because of the pay, and then the closing time and also because of the stress. I didn't even have time to do house chores because it was that bad. I always looked forward to going home just to sleep.
My colleague and I had decided that we would take shifts every weekend, one weekend in and out. This worked for both of us and we both had time to do other things and engage with other people. It was still stressful because of the weekend rush and the customers, but I always looked forward to my weekends off.

We had to create time to prioritize ourselves. Self-care is important, because if you're not mentally settled, you can't think straight, and everything that's happening around you becomes really annoying and boring.
Another thing that can cause one to burnout during work is excessive workload. You're not a robot, if the workload is too much and you can't handle it, speak up, tell them it's impossible to do that in a day and you'd finish up the next day because if you fall sick there will always be someone else to do the job.

Work isn't a military ground, you don't always have to put up a straight face. Take breaks to relax, talk with your friends, and plan events. At least looking forward to a gist from a friend helps. Remember, your work neighbors are not your enemies, relate with them whenever you're free. Being too uptight doesn't help, so relax, work and play after all, all work without no play makes jack a dull boy.

6 am to 10 pm daily ?
And you were never admitted at the hospital at all ?πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Sounds so overwhelming to me, doing the same thing everyday. It would be considerable if the pay was worth all the stress.

Guy!! You know how crazy these employers can be , they always want to drain the life out of you because of just small change they're paying you πŸ˜‚
I'm hardworking so it was pie even tho it drained me

They pay so little but want to get everything out of you because they believe they are paying you well.πŸ˜‚

It is highly difficult to function in the face of burnout. Self-care does work. Just striking a balance as much as possible and looking out for and taking care of yourself helps a little.

For this our country πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ , 100k for a month and they feel like they're doing you a favour lol. Truth is people who want these jobs are so plenty that they know that even tho you leave, there's always someone willing to accept 9k as salary.

For just 16k ooooπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚, hmmm I was still young and naive but the truth is that these employers weren't ready to pay you 20k for a job they know is scarce. They knew people wanted them so it's either you take it or leave it. The school I worked in too wasn't any different, I used to close early but the workload was worse πŸ˜‚ and the pay was 15k....
Now I'd rather learn a skill than to work for days only to earn 30k that's not even enough .......
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚It's not for the weak oo
