Music is one thing I've always been curious about, I never get tired of learning something new about Music but I rarely research about the history of how it all began or who made Music a thing that have won so many hearts today. I still get surprised when some people say Music isn't something they enjoy when I feel it's the one thing I enjoy most out of other fun things I do.
For this prompt, we're asked to share an historical event that we'd like to witness and learn from and my mind is reminded of my love for music and it led me to researching a few things about it.

Music has different kinds but I got curious about singing without instrumental accompaniment... The popular Acapella music we know today. It started somewhere and that is from The Barbershop Quartets.
This group started the now popular form of Music, Acapella in the 1800s, a really long time ago but their unique sounds from that time still lives as more people get interested in Acapella music today. The Barbershop Quartets as the name implies are a four men group of African-Americans who decided to come together and make sing with their voices and no musical accompaniment for the first time in the 1800 and grew to enjoy what they produce.
Like I've said, I love music and I'm always excited to learn a new sound, listen to a new melody and possibly create music with people who think same about Music with me. In regards to that, just thinking about witnessing The Barbershop Quartet perform acapella music for the first time would be an honour I'll cherish for a long time.
Why do I want to witness the birth of Acapella music?
First reason is already on my post title, I love Acapella music. I can bet it is what I enjoy most when sang well and I like how awesome those songs sound without any help from musical instruments. Also, I'd love to witness it the courage they mustered up to sing without background help. Considering the fact that they must have been hearing songs with musical back ups but wanting to sing without them, it's a courage and I love it.
I've always wondered how music came about but just the imagination of actually witnessing a legendary history of the Acapella music is one to be excited about and learn a lot from. I may have a few reasons to want to witness the birth but these few reasons are a lot to visit such a time.
What would I learn from witnessing the birth of Acapella music?
To be among the first people who heard the unique sound of Acapella for the first time. As an Acapella lover and singer, it would be an honour if my first knowledge of it was gotten from where it originally started. Having to hear the different parts in voices and how they blend would be a moment to kill for (literally).
I'll also get to learn of how the people first reacted to hearing the Acapella kind of music, maybe I'll find those who loved it so much that made it stay alive till date. It's an history that I've always been curious about so an opportunity to witness it will definitely be one I wouldn't want to miss.
The twist of the voice when Acapella music is sung a times leaves my mouth open unconsciously. Music is food to the soul and it brings a lot of relieve with it.
Hmmmmm, I wish your dream comes through so I will enjoy the event with you again.
I do wish you well my dear
Haha yeah, I enjoy listening to how dynamic the voices do get when singing Acapella.
Thanks for stopping by sis.
Their voices do sound like musical instrument, it is worth listening to it. I like Acapella music too.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Yeah, you're right
Imagine trying to sing acapella in those days where jazz and Pop was all the rage.
Must have took some balls - Probably explains why they were all men (Hehe)
Found a vid online. You are referring to these guys? >>>>
Haha yeah, probably explain that
They got the "Men" courage together hehe
Yeah, those guys... They started Acapella music π
History in music and music in history
You can say that again π
Hehe. I didn't expect you put right something about music and it was about historical moment π€. But it seems somehow you find the way which is connected to music in most cases π . You are a pure and dedicated music loverπ .
Haha yeah, I realize that about me a lot of times π
Well that would have been a great time to be alive just like the afropop, we witness now in Nigeria for some years back now but I don't think I would have enjoyed it more and more though because I find it boring but also sometimes nice
Haha I understand, I would have loved it π
I'm a lover of music tho I don't like acapella much but it's really lovely
I love Acapella π
Nice momma
