The Trends Of Today And Predictions Of Tomorrow

I was in a teaching class where the focus of the lesson was on "Christianity in the contemporary age" and the teacher said something that I had only realized when he said it... Years ago, people didn't mind traveling long distances by walking, waiting for days and weeks to hear from others.

But he said something I totally agree with, today that we have access to fast transportation, mobile phones and recently, the AI, no one in this present age would want to go back in those days to live. I mean, we even wonder how people of that age survived how slow the world was then.

We are in a fast age, that is the major trend now and if I want to predict what the future would be, it can only get faster from here. Honestly, it is a thing to be worried about because as it is now, life is already going too fast. Look at the children of these days, they learn super fast, act mature.

Today in a brief discussion with my sister, we mentioned how the Internet has made everything so accessible and this is causing mental problems for many. We talked about how oppressing it is to listen to some upcoming singers online and how good they are than us.

Years ago, we felt like stars because the internet wasn't very accessible and people just appreciate the little things around them unlike now where you get more love online than in the reality. It's really scary how worse it could get from now if nothing is done by us, humans to keep humanity.

No doubt, technology and the recent rise of AI are made to better our lives as humans but if we are being honest, these things are bringing up a lot of problems that we have to keep trying to solve if we want to make use of them. For a fact, we can not stop evolution from happening in our world.

With the way the world has evolved over decades, we can only predict but it would still be shocking how much more the world has in store for more changes. The only thing I think we can do as humans is to keep trying to save humanity as the world tries to get rid of it with great evolutions.

Since we can't stop or even control evolution as we tend to welcome every new change, finding ways to use them for our own benefits without abusing them should be our first priority. Our children should be guided as much as possible as the world changes and they learn so fast too.

We call this time, the digital age, I imagine what the world would look in ten years to come and I think of everything can be done easy with no touch of human. It sounds like fun, no stress and everyday enjoyment but it also sounds like a time far from what humanity should be and feel like.
