For real, there are so many people joining the online market in search of remote jobs now than ever. Even companies are now letting workers play their roles from the home and there is a lot of good reasons people are looking for jobs like this now. Especially in my country at the moment, having a remote job is the best option nowadays.
With a remote jobs, we don't need to follow a strict timing daily, struggle with transportation expenses and rushing in traffic. The benefits of working remotely is a long list and it involves helping people to manage their time better when they don't have to spend hours commuting to and fro workplaces. That time can go into good rests.
Another good thing about remote works is the increase in availability of jobs for people, as people are not limited by their locations. Companies also benefit as they get to save money to be used for an office space, electricity and other expenses that comes with having all their workers work from a building every workday.
Even companies getting the chance to work with better talents around the world or country or outside a country, is a benefit that comes with remote work opportunities. While remote jobs are what people want, I think it's important to ask what this shift means in the long run, not just for the individuals but for the whole work system.

There is the problem of isolation on the long run. Working from home sounds nice and peaceful until it starts to feel lonely, especially for people who really can not function well outside a structured work system. There is the issue of discipline because remote work requires a lot of self-control and consistent without supervision.
Looking at the bigger picture, if more people fully move into remote work, the corporate world will definitely change as offices may become smaller or less important and that means physical meetings may reduce and companies rely on digital communications, less human connection. Jobs that require people to be physically present like transport workers, health workers and others.
And then, there is risk of imbalance in the work space if remote jobs are considered a better option so that people start avoiding important jobs because they want to get employed in the remote spaces. So the good of remote work is strong but only when there is a good balance between remote and physical jobs side by side.
In my opinion, the best approach is a mixed system. Some jobs can stay fully remote. Some can be hybrid, where people work from home some days and go to the office on other days. And some jobs will always need physical presence, and that is balanced. Balanced because there will still be human connections.
Remote work is not the problem, pursuing it to have one of them is not a problem also but the future will be mostly remote if we don't place as much importance on those jobs that must require physical presence as we do on remote jobs. This is just a personal thought anyways.
