Growth Requires Discontent, But Not Reckless Desire

This question seem more directed to the universe, it's creator than to humans who are living according to the balance of the world. I say that because I tend to direct every question that regards humans and the universe, to the creator. I was going to just start with "everyone in the world can't be contented with what they have" and that's totally fine, it's how the world works.

Contentment is one of the rarest virtue found in the hearts of man, it's why we get the popular saying that "Man's wants are insatiable". Only very few find contentment with what they already have and they are happy about it. But if we are looking a happy world or as the prompt calls it, a happy Utopia, there will be lots of impossibilities.

First of all, I believe a lot wouldn't have to evolved especially technology if the world was contented with what they had and that would mean we are not making use of the gifts God has blessed man with. It's okay to want more, that's the only way we can achieve more of what is in store in our brains to make living better for the generations.

I read from a book yesterday something interesting that I have never thought to use as a definition for greedy for more means and that's where I'll say it's not okay to more want... “Enough” is not risking what you have and need for what you don't have and don't need". This talk about the things we shouldn't risk but still do.

If as a country, we have to risk some things we hold dear, to evolve into a new thing we can't tell if it will do us good or not, we are risking what we have for what we might not need and that's a wrong discontentment. So I'm not against the world trying to evolve and become a better world one invention at a time, we shouldn't risk more.

But yeah, growth comes out of being uncomfortable with what is already familiar. Our brains works in a way that we can not be too used to something and not start thinking of some other ways to do things or change them even though it might take time for some. God has blessed man with brain, wisdom and thoughts.

We must use them to be humans, so it's impossible for man to live on earth with no more inventions or innovation. Even though there is always a bad and good side to everything in life, we can also try as humans to make use of these things for good as much as possible. A total world happy and content is not a possible thing.

Like I read in the book and shared, we can always try to invent or innovate because that's how we can say we are growing and not to settle for what we know already or for less but we must know when we are risking way too much than we are trying to have and if we do need we're risking for.
