One of the things I decided to do to have a different year at the beginning of this year was, doing it anyways. Even if I'm scared, even if I may fail at it or I'm not ready for it, I decided I'll do it anyways and that has helped me face a lot of my fears in just one year. It has also taught me lessons I can not even start counting out now.
Fear has always been a part of life, we begin to fear when we have something to lose and a lot of the times, we are the ones who imagine the worse so the fear keeps us from doing what we could have done to pass a phase. Yeah, I also see fear as a phase that shows we are about to learn, grow and enter a new level of life if we fight it.
No many is free of fears, even those who think they have nothing to lose have their lives to lose except they don't value their life too. Nowadays we have the fear of not being accepted on social media, as people see validation now more than before. This has caused a lot of fears in many, I wasn't an exception until I learned to overcome.

While there are many ways I've had to face my fears and do something anyways, but I'll share one that is most recent and still ongoing because I am still facing the fear every single day I wake up to step out of the house. I decided one day to find a job for what I have had experience on, even though I've always said that I don't like the job.
If you're one who have gone out to find a job, you can already tell how hard it can be to be in search of job, talk more of a job that you don't really like but want to go for it anyways. I was going to focus on getting a good pay until I learned something that changed my perspective about life and building experiences from experiences.
You may not get what I'm saying but one of the fears I had was agreeing to accept a job I thought I didn't like and the pay wasn't even encouraging to crown it all up but here I am facing that fear for many other better reasons overlooking the fact that I didn't like the job, I am see myself loving it now and I'm gaining more from it than the pay is.
It's still an ongoing fear but I've seen positive outcomes from it even before I started because now, I am no longer acting from a place of fear even though I know I am facing a fear every single day I wake up to prepare and step out of the house. The old me would prefer to stay indoors, away from people and keep to myself.
That has changed and I am excited to see how far fighting this ongoing fear will take me and how well because I don't plan to go about it as I like but as God wills because I trust Him to guide.
