I really like how conversations I have nowadays are teaching me something new, even videos I watch, people I listen to and the rest, they are opening my eyes to see beyond what has always been shown to me that wasn't really what I needed. I'm grateful for how much I've learned and sex education to kids is one I've learned into.
Parenthood doesn't have an absolute manual or guide but there are always suggestions that should be taken from a place of wisdom, what works best for each child and the best way to go about applying these suggestions in their lives because it will play a huge part in how their lives turn out to be. And that includes their sex lives.
Like I was saying in a conversation I had with a friend recently, after seeing a video, sex has somehow be something seen as "dirty" and even unclean because of how the society, especially parents in trying to protect their child, have painted it to be like. While this may have helped some kids grow to be more careful engaging in it.
It has caused so many children to not be open to their parents when they experience sex, especially in ways they were not ready for and it's because they were never taught. Sex is a powerful part of the human life, I read from a book just how much of a difference it can make for a person who understands the power of sex.

For something so powerful, I told my friend in a chat jokingly that it should be added to school curriculum for proper education to people passing through school. But I know it isn't possible, especially in low level classes where little kids are still growing and learning basic things. And that brings me to the "when is right".
I learnt something interesting, even though I'm yet to know how exactly I should put it into practice when I finally have my own children but I do understand what it means... At the age of 5 and below, discipline your kid, at below 12 years, train your kid, at below 18 years, coach your child and at 18 years, be your child's friend... Simply.
If one would stick to this, they could easily train their child at the age between 12 to 18 what sex is. Sex is not dirty, it's something people are engaging in every day, even wrongly but still going about their lives. For your child to have a better sex life, a healthy lifestyle and not be decieved into the wrong idea of sex, you teach it.
The approach system will vary but depending on their age of the kid, how he or she react to what's happening around, the kind of questions they ask and the kind of friends you see around them. For me, the earlier the better because you can not be too careful with a sensitive matter like that. It would be way better to learn from a place of love.
