A Quarter Of The Year: Successes, Setbacks & Shifts

The year have been running so fast, it doesn't feel like it's been over two months since my service obligation to my country ended. A lot has happened since I returned back from my service but it still feels like this quarter ran out so fast. In all, it's a quarter of the year that ended in thanks.

If I am to start counting out every single thing that has happened from the beginning of the year, a post won't be enough but I'll take this opportunity to point out some of my successes, setbacks and shifts (changes) I've had to make for the remaining year to be a success for me.

The first month of the quarter started with me preparing to leave the state I had been serving in for over a year. It was an exciting month for me as I was looking forward to what I'll do next with my life and looking positively to it. I also ventured into learning a new online skill in the first month.

It's amazing how things can change so much with just one contact after a long while, I was blessed to get a message from an old friend who has been taking it up to himself to teach me a new skill and like that, I'm earning with it thanks to him. Still got more to learn but it's going well.

Sadly, in the second month of the quarter, I applied for a job that turned out to be a scam. I didn't loss much but I hated that I had some hope up for it and it turned out the way it did. Even though I had planned not to search for a job offline, I thought it was something to go out for.

I needed something that would take me out of my house at least in some of the days of the week, sadly, I fell for a wrong job vacancy and now, I'm back into my shell hustling for any work I'll find online. In that second month too, I started to struggle through stomach issues and pains.

Thankfully, it never got so bad that I couldn't do anything for myself or keep my earning streak but it haven't been quite okay for me since the second month of the quarter. From one test to another, medication to another and I had to spend a lot in hopes of gaining back my health.

In the third month of the quarter, I resumed back making videos on Hive and it's been quite the experience for me. Because of my plans to start making better videos, I've been using the opportunity to get new items for myself. And I've been keeping a good streak with my Hive journey.

Sadly, I had to power down some Hive to sort out some expenses and so, I doubt I'll be able to meet my year's goal of having over 20k HP but in any case, growing my HP is still in plans no matter how slowly it grows. I plan to have more sources of income this year and it's going well.

In this last month of the quarter, I'm still facing some health issues that had to make me travel back to my hometown but I'm getting all better now and I believe I'll go into the next quarter with good health and gratitude for the success of this quarter. I can't wait to see what the next quarter has in store for me and my laid out life's plans.
