One wrong information can spoil the whole thing. Social media have become a place where we get most of the information we need at is without even stressing ourselves that much. Many of us have come to the point of assessing many things or information we need to run a conclusion over something without even getting to the point where the event occur. That is how easier internet made things to become. Because the social media is a space where we composed what we want, what will like, and go our way. However many persons did not pay attention to the effect of that which they posted on social media. This is not all about posting on social media it is about the later effect it will have on individual and the community at large. Many people have lost many opportunity because of what was said about them in the social media or what they say themselves in the social media.

While growing up we were told that anything that is being posted to the social media after many years ago that it has a way of coming up to the nearest future. Social media being a means of modifying and promoting people's image and also a means where people's reputation or image can be destroy. What funny thing about social media is that when a message or information is passed through the social media it gets to millions of persons within a second and Millions of people might decided to report it and it continue going viral..

Regarding to what I Hive Learners prompts demands to talk about. It is no more a story that social media have cause many harm to people. Many people drop out of institution, some profession because of what social media has about them. For example, there was a time a seminarian who was about to be ordained a priest was disqualified from the process because of what's he replied to a post made on social media and at the same time his past life during the time of seminary institution. Because of this particular incident he lost the opportunity of the coming name Reverend father. This is how dangerous social media can be. It is unfortunate that we mostly look at the disadvantage of social media and not comparing both the advantage and the disadvantage in same picture..

Social media has also giving someone a promotion in his spoken environment or working space. Just because he rated the company long time ago without the company's knowledge there after he was employed and after passing through the probation phase he was returned as the company staff, then along the process promotion the thing that was handling that came across a video where he was promoting the company without the company knowledge about that then he was giving the opportunity to be promoted as well. This is also how social media can help or positively. However it is important we balance what will accept from the social media and what we do in real life.
