Hello Members of Hive Learners community i would like to share some of my profound knowledge on Financial Literacy?
What is Financial Literacy
Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding financial products like loans and credit.
In more Profound knowledge it knowing how money works
My intake on when i learn about financial literacy actually truth be told it took me about an adulthood i come across knowing what is called financial literacy learning how to manage your budget, savings, investing and all sort of things.
I first encountered the concept of financial literacy during my late teens, around the time I got my first job. Up until then, money was a vague concept something parents dealt with, something I received occasionally, and usually spent quickly. But as I began earning my own income, the realization hit me I had no idea how to manage it.
I didn’t know how to budget, how credit worked, or why savings mattered beyond putting away loose change. It took years of trial and error mistakes, missed payments, impulse spending before I finally started to understand the bigger picture.
The truth is, the earlier financial literacy begins, the more profound its impact. It’s easier to build strong habits than to correct harmful ones. And while it’s never too late to learn about money, the cost of waiting can be high in stress, in debt, and in missed opportunities.
Secondly to my own knowledge it should be when a child is becoming of adult age independent and that should be around 18 years old and i have my reason of saying that cause at that age they should start learning how to set goals for their future it has to do with financial literacy and it important they should have a grasp of how they intend to shape their future.
Such lessons usually bear fruit when they finally ripe cause if they start working on their future they sure to have a bright one I believe if we worked on our future from small we can have a brighter one not everyone are being born with silver spoon in their mouth.
The sooner, the better. Let’s raise a generation that understands money not just as something to spend, but as something to manage wisely. That understanding could be the difference between surviving and thriving in an increasingly complex financial world
What am trying to saying is financial literacy plays an important role in our lives and help shaping our adulthood if we play it right there is a saying what you sow you shall reap later

It’s important to learn this early, especially when someone becomes an adult, so they can make good decisions about saving, spending, and planning for the future. Starting late can cause problems, but it’s never too late to learn.
