How a Hidden Book in My Father’s Closet Sparked My Entrepreneurial Mind

(edited)

Ever since yesterday, when I saw the second week, Hive Learner, I have been wondering how to start. I didn't want to come here just fabricating stories or writing what sounds good; I wanted to be honest about my thoughts. Sometimes, the hardest part is finding the courage to write.

A reading habit is something you should have developed as a child, not when you have become an adult. Well, I once loved reading a book, but my habit shifted from being a bookworm to other things. I am not especially into one thing as long as I derive pleasure from it.

But that doesn't change the fact that I still don't love to read books but the interest derives from what book you love to read and captivates my motivation you can never see me reading a book of love, romance, I prefer reading books of an intellectual mindset focusing on being an entrepreneur.

My reading habit or my love for such book started when I was once peeping into my dad's wardrobe to steal his singlet i was still a kid frben I love wearing big things you could call it wearing oversized cloth I discovered my dad was also a book lover and then I also picked up interest I found so many fascinating books in his closet during those days I picked it up and read it hard remembering the name you forgive me for that until one day he caught me reading those books and handed them to me.

Ever since then my knowledge of reading has grown wide until my interest changed but before then I mentioned I was fascinated by those book one day on Sunday school at church I ask my Sunday school teacher where can I be reading most books of these categories he then suggested me an online reading I can be reading them online that's where I took his advice and went online these one took me a while to found out it been long but thanks to the era of chatgpt things are much more easier to do.

Title

The Start-Up of You: Adapt to the Future, Invest in Yourself, and Transform Your Career

The Author was *Reid Hoffman & Ben Casnocha it was published in 2012

The book compares your career to a start-up company. Instead of waiting for promotions or job security, you should think and act like an entrepreneur from an early age constantly learning, networking, and adapting to change Just as start-ups must pivot, find investors, and identify new markets to survive, you must also continuously reinvent yourself to stay relevant in today’s fast-changing economy.

Why I could remember this books was it define who I am today and what currently going on in our society so many people focused on acquiring certificate and after acquiring it they end up working under someone with their degree instead of choosing to be an entrepreneur once they realised this it too late to change the mindset after spending half of their decade working as a salary earner?

It talks a lot about how to build yourself as an early entrepreneur and to go about If my interest in reading ever comes up again or I come across such a great book I would if someone can recommend me books under the comment section that deal with this aspect of being an entrepreneur at a young mindset please dont hesitate to mention below thanks for reading my post.
