The topics looks kind of funny, but then I feel it also calls for very deep thinking. Talking of if I were suddenly dropped in a strange land with nothing, like nothing... no money, no friends, no food, no help, nothing.

No, we all know what a strange land is, somewhere you don't know, a place you're not in any way familiar with, and same goes to the people or beings you meet there, hey are total strangers to you as you are to them, you might see them as a threat and they will possibly see you as one too.
But then, I feel the first thing that would determine my survival and all in a strange land wouldn't be my skills or the talent I possess. I might be wrong, but this is just my own perspective. Before talking about what I can do, it will be very important to first look around and study this new place I now find myself, including the people therein.
So, the location, the environment, and the place itself matters a lot. A strange land might not be inside the bush, it may be a busy city where opportunities abounds and I can quickly render some sort of service and get myself on my feet without delay, a strange land might be a remote area where no one knows about tech, no Internet service or few educated and travelling people, and a strange land can be in he middle of nowhere where I cannot be even sure the people there are entirely humans. Now, that would determine every other thing, if my skills can come in handy or not.

Now, about the people in such a place and environment, some might see you as a threat and quickly treat you as one, some can be very accommodating, some will give you a listening ear and be willing to help you stay amidst the or get you back to where you're coming from, while some will allow you stay but always watch your steps just in case.
And because of all of that, I don't have a straight answer to the question asked, I might take a few days, a few weeks, a few months, a few years.... Or longer.
I'm not saying talents and skills won't help, but you will agree with me that it will only be useful if there's actually a need for it. What if I meet myself in a bush or a very remote area and the skills or talent I possess requires certain equipment that are not available there, what if the people don't see any reason for it? What if they don't need or want it? Or what if there's something I can really do, but would need time, reason being that I would need time to let them see and understand how it can benefit them, and it might not always be easy to get them to calm down for me and make them believe I'm not planning on destroying them. What I'm saying is, for the skill and talent that I possess, I would need to prove myself and earn their trust first. That way, I can be able to exchange that which I possess for either money, opportunities, shelter and all..

But then I believe I would survive, adaptability is a skill too, and I possess it. I may be uncomfortable at first, but with time I'm sure I will learn, adjust and survive wherever it is. I just need to do what's needed, learn from them, study their ways and patterns, assist them where I could, show them more easy ways to get things done, and little by little it goes.
Also, with the little experiences that I've had with people online and offline, how I've worked with different people and engage in various things, I believe all of those will add up together and help me fit in quick.
In conclusion, I can't say how long it will take me to become a functioning member of any strange place, but I know I'm not the type to give in that easily. There will always be a way to survive, as much as skills and talents are important, character, and the ability to learn and adapt is way important too, especially for survival.

You are truly on point here Dave. One’s skill is very important here because in a strange land must not be in a bush. It’s definitely going to be a city 🌆 with people and opportunities. So one will start with service rendering.
Honesty, all what you said is true and valid. But we just have to pray that our skills will take us to where we will be able to use it, not in a bush or a village that won't allow such. And we should pray not to meet ourselves in village that will see us as threat just like you said because we have some villages that doesn't welcome strangers to their place or else they will kill the strangers.
