RE: WHEN IT FALLS APART

While scrolling through Instagram reels, I came across a video that fits perfectly into this topic. It is a movie by Jim Carrey, love. A young boy wished that Jim should never be able to tell lies again and guess what? That wish came through. Imagine a lawyer not being able to tell lies. Well, that was how miserable his life turned out. He said, “Adults have to tell lies. No one can survive in the adult world without telling lies.”

I have realized that we tell lies to get out of difficult situations. Like, “Oya, I will give you this thing, just stop disturbing me.”

I also don’t like making promises, but life is interesting. We find ourselves in situations where we (without even thinking) make promises. I also can't count the number of times I have broken my promises to you. All we need to do is keep praying that God gives us the strength to keep our promises.

Thanks for sharing, love.

Omo. It’s only God that can really help us. We can live without telling lies, love. That’s the goal. But when we surround ourselves with people that don’t see anything wrong with it so they can survive, we will only be like them and that’s why our circle matters a lot in making us who we are. That’s why the Bible said evil communication corrupts good manners. It gets easier to stop lying when we have people around us that help us do away with it, baby.
