The phrase "our democracy" is used a lot, but it doesn't mean what we might think it means. It's not a democracy of "we the people", but the democracy of "we the ruling class". That is what THEIR democracy is, even if they call it "our democracy".

Exactly, you summed it up perfectly.
The government didn't write the Constitution, nor does "we the people" mean "the government". But Joe Blinded said so much in his 2021 speech to a joint session of Congress. This sums up what Our Democracy (tm) means to THEM:
