Some people resist to leave hometown in their old age and I know it's not so easy to leave but I think resisting too much is good for their children. My grandmother is also such a person. Fortunately, there are my uncle's family in village to take care of her.

Yes, most grandparents are acquainted to their hometown and wouldn't want to move to another place or city. They'd prefer their children coming to visit them in the village.
I can understand them. They spend whole life in village and thinking to leave village is difficult for them.
