Nothing good in trending

In recent days the news related to extortion has been increasing in my country and it’s like that there is no way to stop such kind of action. If someone asks me what's on trending in my country, then it's something related to it and I am very disappointed to say that I don't have any positive topic to share. Hive Learners community contest asked about the trending topic of my country. I'm just going to respond on the topic, and I think it's the best topic to share for today even if it's not something positive.

2 years ago, the people of my country were able to regain their freedom from dictator Sheikh Hasina, and I think that most of the people know about it and I've said that everyone expected a reform and waited for something good to happen. It was expected that if a new government take control, it will not repeat the mistake of previous government as that government already learned a lesson and forced Sheikh Hasina to run away. At least it was expected that the new government wouldn't dare to repeat the same mistake because the consequences of such an action were clear.

At the beginning of this year near government elected and people didn't expect too much from that government except a stabilized situation for the country and I think that considering overall situation it was natural. Unfortunately, the current government fails to do that. In fact, the situation is getting out with time. The actions of some important leaders of the current government are quite ridiculous and are not showing any intention to improve the situation. The people of current government are getting arrogant, and they think that they can do anything and there is no one to restrict them. They think that they have power and extortion is their right.

Extortionists are trying to take money from every possible way and It's very irritating. Most of the people are forced to give money to them because they are not so powerful. If anyone refuses to give money, then people of government attack them and taking the money forcefully are by doing harassment. I think that they are walking in the same way the previous government followed thinking that they are the most powerful. The situation is getting worse with time and it's concerning and making me a little bit worried.

It is not affecting me personally at the present time but it's just a matter of time it will affect me also if such a situation continues. How can I remain unaffected when the situation of my country gets worse. So current trending topic of my country is not something good and today's more positive influence about it. Even if I'm not influenced negatively but I don't feel that it's ok. Actually, don't want to talk too much about it because it's not something I am very much interested in discussing.
