Humans are known as the best creatures on Earth. They are intelligent, and their capability made them the best, and there is no doubt in that case. Every human should be treated equally, and everyone deserves respect. But since ancient times, general discrimination has been a very common thing.
I agree with it that women were discriminated against again and again from ancient times, and they didn't receive the respect they deserve. Since that time, most men used to think lowly about women. In those times, women were only for taking care of the family and the kitchen work. Women were not allowed to receive education also in that time. But right now we are living in a modern era. Has anything changed?
Still, now there is no doubt that the world is dominated by men. But there is no way to think that women are as powerless as they used to be before. Now women have the power to make decisions for the family or insist on being the decision maker. They can also go for education, work, and earn money to survive.
20 to 25 years ago, people used to think that it was a waste to give education to girls, but right now the mentality has changed. At the present time, guardians are very concerned about education; it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl. In fact, there are many families who want a girl as a child. Such kinds of thoughts were rare in earlier times. So, in a family, at least most of the families I have seen treat their children equally without considering gender.
There is a thing that has not changed, and still, it can be said that men are in the dominant role. But at the present time, discrimination is different from the past. Even if they are dominant, women are allowed to speak. They have a huge influence on the decision maker. As an example, I can talk about my parents. Suppose my father is going to make a financial decision; he discusses it with my mother. My father could have made the decision alone, but he shared it with my mother, and it's called giving respect and considering the opinion of my mother. Maybe it's because two heads are better than one. In case of earning, my father used to do the job, and in case of taking care of the family, my mother used to do it. But when my father returned to the country, he tried to help my mother with kitchen work. Still, he tries to help my mother, but most of the time he ends up doing something messy. Does it mean in my family, there is equality? Nope. It's called equity.
People easily confuse equality and equity. Equality and equity are two different things. I support both of them. Equality or equity—both are good for us. We are living in a digital world, and in the case of financial equality, I think it's a good step. Men and women both should bear the responsibility for finances. In that case, men don't need to bear financial responsibility alone again; at the same time, they should work together or distribute kitchen responsibilities when it comes to kitchen work. This is called equality.
But again, if men are the only ones to bear the responsibility of finance, in that case, I think there is nothing wrong with women handling the kitchen work and family care. I think in that case it's foolishness to expect the men to work together in the kitchen after going through the hassle of earning, because at that time the body will get tired. It can be optional, but cannot be forced. But at the same time, earning money does not mean he can think lightly about the housework done by women. The women not earning does not mean the men have the right to disrespect them. It does not mean women do not have the right to make decisions for their families. One is making a contribution by finance, and another is making a contribution by effort, and both are equally important in a family. This is called equity.
Which one do I prefer most? I think I am okay in both cases; it doesn't matter if it's equality or equity. Based on my country's situation, most of the girls are educated, and I don't want them to give up on education for family. I think they should make their own identity and, in this digital world, take and do it easily. At least I feel they need to be self-dependent in case they don't get the respect they deserve from their family. If they have talent and ability, why waste it? So I mostly think equality is the best. I am ignoring the fact of physical strength in terms of equality. I am ignoring it because in the near future, physical strength is nearly nothing because most of the tasks will be done by machines. So in my eyes, it's a totally nonsensical idea to compare men and women based on it.
But but but I think it will be hard to maintain equality. Either men will dominate women, or women will dominate men. Everyone wants the power, and everyone wants to play the dominant role as long as they are capable. I don't care who dominates whom as long as the dominant player gives respect to the other party.

Wow. I value your opinion here. In the end, what matters most is respect. Both parties should give respect to each other no matter who does the big job or not. It makes things go smoothly between them. Whether equality or equity, respect is important.
Hmm. As long as both parties respect each other and give them the right they deserve, everything can be balanced easily without any trouble. It's a simple thing, but we are making it difficult.
That’s the world for you. Everyone keeps making it difficult to implement.
I agree with you both parties want to become dominant but that cannot happen in real life and it's hard to maintain balance but yes we can give equal respect to each other 🙏

I kinda agree with you. A world where everyone treats each other as equals is a fantasy. But who knows, one day, it will be a reality.
