if you are bold, then you have free will.

Everyone wants freedom in life and for freedom, people are making efforts to make themself powerful because powerless people lose their freedom easily. Maybe that’s why it says that freedom is easy to achieve but hard to maintain. As humans, each of us is independent and has the right to decide for ourselves. We can do what we want to do, and we can choose not to do certain things if we don’t want to do that. Decision is ours but we are responsible for our actions, and we may face consequences based on our actions. So, the question arises whether there is anything called free will.

We are living in a society and in a society, there are rules and regulations as well as restrictions for maintaining the balance of society. Everyone in society is not good and not everyone is evil and that’s why kinds of things are needed. We are free to make choices for our life but sometimes our choice in life makes influence in society which can be good or bad both. In such a time we need to be careful while making decision as we are going to take the blow directly if something doesn’t go well. So, when it’s something related to society I think we can’t be careless. In most cases society try to restrict us when people try to do something crazy or not wrong but it’s not the case for every time. Now just keeping aside something related to society.

Even if it’s something related to personal decision societal pressure exists. From birth time to growing up society has an invisible pressure. Society has a standard and most people try to follow the standard and try to be a standard person like society describes. The imaginary figure society describes is mostly based on previous history, but time is changing and it also needs to be changed. Unfortunately, very few societies accept the change. If anyone tries to do something different, they may consider what other people say and its pure societal pressure.

Suppose one person is trying to build a career in cryptocurrency trading or career related to gaming. According to society people building a career in cryptocurrency is gambling and building a career in gaming like wasting time just by doing nothing and parents also need to hear many things for such a case. What’s wrong with building a career in cryptocurrency or gaming. I know everyone is not qualified but society can’t decide for us that we are not qualified for it. Who knows we are the chosen ones for those careers.

The structure of careers is changing, and we are not bound to follow the traditional system. We need to embrace change but most society are not ready for it. We face obstacles when we try to do that for the traditional mindset of people. So, there is no way to say societal pressure doesn’t exist. This pressure has influenced the decision we usually make, and I don’t think there is free will if you want to be ideal person like society describes. But free will exists for the who want to control their own life and can protect themselves from societal pressure. Or they can find a way to ignore the pressure and do the thing they want to do as long as they don’t do something illegal.

They do care about society but if society becomes obstacles they don’t care about it in that case and they are the ones who can stay firm to do what they want to do without caring about what other people think about it. They know it quite well that they are the controller of their own life and they don’t allow society to shape their life in that why they don’t want to be. Free will is for them who are bold enough to stay firm about their decisions while for the scared one there is not free will actually.
