I don't want to take the risk

At the present time people are very active in social media and social media is quite addictive. Almost every kind of content is available there. At the present time social media is not only for entertainment. It also allows users to make money by making content and things became quite easy compared to past and naturally many people are taking social media as a media for earning. There are many people who became social influencers in social media and making a good amount of money. It’s indeed a good thing and a person doesn’t need to go outside to make money.

As it has become very easy for everyone, people are trying to take advantage of it and people are trying their best to make as much money as they can and they are ready to go to any level for it. The children also allowed to become a social media influencer as there is not rule a child is not allowed to be a social media influencer. Do you think a child is allowed to be a social media influencer? Let me share my thoughts related to it.

At the present time there are various kinds of content and the content of children also available. There are many funny and cute contents of children, and I believe that some of those children are quite talented in certain fields. It sometimes amazes me thinking that a little child can have such talent. Those children can’t operate everything as they don’t understand everything, and their parents or elder siblings assist those children to become social influencers. Many parents also choose to make money by making their child social influencer. And in such a case is it ok for parents to use their child to make money when the child is not well aware anything about it or not having enough understanding about it.

I think parents should think about it as it’s not only related to money. It’s related to the growth of a child. If a child becomes diverted for such a thing and doesn’t focus on study, they may blame their parents for such a thing and in that case, I also think that the parents are to blame as for their selfishness they sacrifice the future of their child. It’s just a possibility but it may create a career for the child also and it depends on how it works. I think we have no one to judge them as we don’t know what kind of life struggle, they are facing.

In my case I think I won’t allow my children to become a social media influencer till a certain age. I think I won’t allow my child to become approximately 15 years old as I feel that at that time child will be capable enough to guess the risk and opportunity to be an influencer in social media. Making money is not the only thing for a social media influencer. An influencer may face criticism and for children criticism can be bad for their growth and this is something I am afraid. Additionally, there is stress to be a social media influencer, and I don’t want to let it happen with my child. I appreciate it if anyone wants it to happen for their child’s case but in my case, I don’t dare to take such a risk.
