Choosing city only for one facility

Life is full of possibilities, and there are many challenges and chances to co-exist at the same time. In life, we have many choices to make depending on the situation, and one of the most common choices is to select between urban life or rural life. Both kinds of life have own advantages and disadvantages, and we can’t deny it. We want to take advantage of one we are bound to face disadvantages of it also doesn’t matter if we want it or not. Right now, I am living in city for some reason. Where would I choose to live between city and village life if security and income is not the issue?

I am living in such an apartment where the rent is not little but instead of it, my family, as well as me, choose to live in city and it means even if the income is not an issue, we might choose the same. If I live in village the cost of living is low as I don’t need to pay anyone for the rent and so it’s not a big deal even if the earnings are little in the village. On the other hand, in city life the cost of living is high, but it also offers me more earning opportunities also and from the financial perspective, I feel both village and city life are almost similar, but I feel the village life can be better if I think financially.

Let’s talk about security. In city life, the police station and other security systems are fully active all the time and but as case of village, it’s not so active as the city life, but in village, the crime rate is very low. Society people themselves act as security and there is nothing to be afraid of and even at midnight, I can go outside without any kind of fear there but in city I may not dare to do so even after having good security system as I can’t trust it too much. From this perspective village is better.

In case of education system, city life offers better facilities and finding good tutors in village is not so easy as good ones move in city usually. But in my family case, in case of study, I am enough to educate my brother and sister and from this perspective, my family doesn’t need the facilities also as even in city I teach my little brother.

If it were 3/4 years ago it would be hard to find stable internet connections in the village but now, it’s not remains an issue there as now Wi-Fi services are available in my village and staying connected to internet is not a big deal. In this case city life is not giving any extra privileges also.

Village is beautiful and I can spend time with nature as much as I can. I can go for a walk anytime and interact with nature, which is very refreshing and free from pollution. Air of village environments itself acts as healer and can refresh our mind. It’s something which is found in city life. But I can get the refreshing air in city in the early morning only. Spending time in village is more enjoyable compared to city life.

Instead of having so many advantages of village why I choose the city life. I think only for one facility do I choose to live in city even if it costs me more money. The facility is the treatment facility. In my village there is no hospital with high-tech support. There is a hospital, but it can only provide basic treatment facilities. For critical patients or emergency situations, there are no good facilities. I see the hospital as good for nothing. Two times I suffered a lot when my parents became sick. Their health conditions were serious but there were no treatment facilities for them and later they brought them to a city hospital where high-tech support was available but to reach there it cost me 1.5 hours and it's a huge time, and I won’t be lucky to get so much time in every time. Now I am in city, and I can easily reach a good hospital within 5 minutes, and all the necessary facilities are available. This is the only facility for what I choose to bring my family to the city. So, I am not ready to go to urban areas to live my life as long as there are no hospitals with all necessary facilities for the emergency situation, even if village life is better from various aspects.
