As humans all of us have the right to share our thoughts as all of us living in an independent country. Instead of it some people don’t like to share their thoughts thinking that it may bring some danger for them. Why do they think so? Why do people feel afraid of it? It’s because people are allowed to share their thoughts but one must need to be responsible for the thoughts they share in public. It’s because when we share our thoughts in a public place, people naturally react based on their thoughts also and it can be positive and negative depending on what kind of thoughts are shared.
Sharing thoughts in public places through painting is a very common way and many artists take the way for share why they want to share. Artists are respected and almost everyone has the mentality to respect the artwork of artists even in public places. Sometimes street art amazes me a lot and few times I find it offensive. Does it mean representing the thoughts of artists in public places should be banned? If yes, why do you think so? Is it a solution in your opinion?
Let me share an example of it of recent times. When we were protesting against the dictator president, almost all of the walls of street painted as the form of protest and the artwork was great. I was amazed to see so many good but thoughtful paintings in the street and in my county, it was not common as street art is not done here generally unless it’s for promoting a company product. We all like the street art that represented the voice of us and it also quite artistic in my opinion. Nobody complained about it and it was natural. But in few places a group of artists painted something that was kind of humiliating the people of a religion. That kind of thing hurts the emotion of the people of that religion. I didn’t belong to that religion, but I also feel that such kind of art showing disrespect to another religion and it was not ideal. Almost everyone didn’t like it and criticized the painting. The person who painted it was unknown to people as painting was done at that time at a massive rate. Even if people can’t identify the painter to punish, other people just erased the painting from that public place. I believe that it would be better if the painter could be punished.
I won’t mind if I can see beautiful paintings in the public place. In fact, I feel it’s kind of interesting and I appreciate those painters who do that but if someone shares any offensive thoughts, they should be punished for it. My thoughts are quite simple, as long as the painters are responsible for the action and ready to face the consequences, those things are allowed to share. There is nothing wrong with it.

You can still have a beautiful painting and harm people or be against a race, religion or sex orientation. That doesn't diminish the effects and the outrage it can cause. Unless maybe the message is hidden in such a way that you can't really point to it. Childish Gambino did a great music video about America, which shocks you but also have a lot of subliminal symbolism about it. Speaking about how racism and violence is muted by entertainment and painting over a pretty picture.
