A CELEB? LET’S HAVE IT

First off, I’m not really a celebrity person, yes I do have a couple of them I admire for what they do and how they do it but then I’m not really a diehard fan of any of them. But then, while thinking of the celeb that really stands out for me, a couple of names came to mind and I just tried matching them up with the description given and I got to realize that most of the celebrities I admire don’t move alone, they work with a team that makes all of them shine.

So my favorite celebrities are the Acapop Kids, like I can go on and on singing their praises because these kids are good. I think they are one of the few celebrities that I’ve followed their lives to an extent because of how attached I got to their kind of music. So based on their name, the Acapop kids are kids that sing acappella songs of any genre and it sounds so good. They do it so effortlessly and I’m not surprised why they are so good, I’m sure some of us know this popular acapella group called pentatonix, they are the ones sponsoring these kids and also coaching them too.

The first song I listened from them was the mashup of Bohemian Rhapsody’s songs and it was just amazing! Like I was thinking, how did these kids produce so much harmony without any instrumental background! The awesomeness of this piece drove me to go search for as many songs as possible they’ve sang. I was not disappointed at any point and that kept me always waiting for the next cover or original they will do.

These kids are all from different parts of the world, they went through auditions to be a part of the group and they were all so good individually. They are over 20 but they all don’t sing together sometimes, if you watch most of their videos, they are usually between 8-15 and they always let everyone of them shine. They are one of those children band I’ve seen that I totally fell in love with.

It was so sad that in 2019, they lost their beatboxer, I remembered I cried a lot because I was already getting so attached to them especially the beatboxer who’s name was Nolan Gibbons, I pray his beautiful soul rest in peace. Nolan was a cheerful kid, he was always smiling and always ready to do what he is needed to do. When I checked for the cause of his death, they only said he slept and didn’t wake up. It was really sad for me and I could only imagine how the people he has been with must have felt.

Despite this setback they faced, they were still able to come out strong. They kept getting better and better until they went a bit quiet and I just got used to listening to their songs I already have saved on my phone. I’m just going to share some of their songs with you and I hope you find it worthwhile.
