Learning Never Ends. Teaching Continues Even Outside School
Teachers are the greatest of all humans. When I hear people say that teachers reward is in heaven I get to kick against it by saying, "teachers reward starts from here and continues there. Every great man or woman you get to see today was in one way or the other taught by a teacher.
There are different forms of learning. First is the formal learning and the other is informal learning. The informal learn have to do with apprenticeship, one gets to register to learn under someone who get to show him the basics of the skin he or she have in mind. In this form of learn it may be individualistic. While the formal learning starts from a class room though at some stage one gets to the outside world that is field trip or excursion to progress in learning.
Every teacher is proud to see his or her student perform well and when they get to see them outside they run to introduce the student who does well to people around. Some years after we got married during the COVID-19 pandemic my husband was fortunate to take some students on Chemistry one of the students he took was in her first year in senior secondary school so he encouraged her to register for senior secondary school examination in her second year and she agreed then persuade her parents. Till date my husband speaks about her and also tells people about it.
In as much as a teacher will be proud to identify with a student who is performing well and it is not also out of place when a teacher calls a student aside to rebuke him or her when they do wrong.
My people always say that a child does not belong to only one man but the public. Many people feel it is not necessary to correct other people's children but the truth is that those children who you fail to correct will come back to corrupt your own kids if care is not properly taken.
It is best to correct them and they didn't adhere to it but certainly a day will come that they will respond in regrets for not receiving the correction. The children that I had the opportunity to watch over I made it a point of duty to call them to myself and speak to them gently when they are going wrong.
Are child with good moral standing will always take corrections that is being given to him or her. Having children who are brazed morally will bring about society that is also brazed. On a daily basis we see the way things fall apart in our society and it is something to be worried about.
Protection of teachers is so important, there are instances that students ganged up to beat up teachers who are always on their neck to do the right thing. Some parents support this nasty behaviour from their kids and at the long run the kids brings shame and disgrace to the family. As a way of rapping up, teachers should not get tired of correcting the students when they meet them outside school. Parents should encourage their kids to listen to the teachers corrections because many of them have their best interest at heart. Thank you for stopping by my blog today

You are right that teacher is always present in our life. We learn from them and move ahead in life. A teacher works hard to make us better than them in life. When they fulfill their responsibilities then we are successful. You have said something heart touching in your post.
I totally support the notion that the teachers role does not stop in the school. I think both parents and teachers have the shared responsibility of training the child wether or not the child is in school
