THE KIND OF BEAUTY THAT CANNOT BE PHOTOGRAPHED

There is something interesting about the way we define beauty....

When someone asks us to describe the most beautiful thing we've ever seen, our minds often travel to big places and extraordinary experiences.. We think about beautiful landscapes, sunsets, oceans, expensive vacations, weddings and moments that look like they belong in a movie but lately I've been thinking that some of the most beautiful things in life are not necessarily things we can take pictures of... Sometimes, beauty is simply seeing someone you love genuinely happy... Sometimes, it is hearing laughter in a room that has been quiet for too long.. Sometimes, it is watching someone who has been through difficult seasons finally enjoy a moment without worrying about what tomorrow might bring and I think that kind of beauty deserves more attention... Not Everything Beautiful Has to Be Extraordinary..

One thing life has taught me is that happiness does not always announce itself.. We spend so much time waiting for major achievements, financial breakthroughs, exciting opportunities and significant milestones that we sometimes overlook the little things happening around us... We want the new job, the big money, the beautiful house, the successful business and the opportunity to finally say that everything has worked out..

There is nothing wrong with wanting those things. I want them too but imagine spending so much time chasing a better life that you forget to appreciate the small pieces of the life you currently have... That would be unfortunate.

Last month, I found myself thinking about how beautiful it is when people we care about are genuinely happy.. Not the kind of happiness people display because they want others to believe everything is fine but the effortless kind that comes when someone temporarily forgets their worries... It reminded me of something I have always found special about my mother.. seeing her dance happily.. There is a particular kind of joy in watching someone who has carried responsibilities, dealt with disappointments, and made sacrifices still find reasons to smile, laugh and enjoy life... You begin to understand that happiness is not necessarily the absence of problems. Sometimes, it is the ability to experience joy even when life has not given you everything you hoped for and honestly, there is something beautiful about that.

The Moments We Rarely Give Enough Attention.. I think we sometimes underestimate how much ordinary moments contribute to our emotional well-being.. A conversation with an old friend, a family member cracking a ridiculous joke, sharing a meal, receiving an unexpected call or simply sitting somewhere without feeling pressured to do anything.... These experiences may not look impressive to someone else but they can mean everything to the person experiencing them because While Growing up, I used to think adulthood would be exciting and I would eventually have more freedom plus finances to do the things I wanted, but Nobody really explained that adulthood would also come with responsibilities... financial pressure, difficult decisions, uncertainty and days when simply getting through the day feels like an achievement... Perhaps that is why I have started appreciating simple moments more... When life becomes demanding, you realise that peace is not a small thing. Having people you can laugh with is not a small thing.. Seeing your family happy is not a small thing.

These are privileges we sometimes recognise only when life becomes difficult..

What Beauty Left Behind.. The interesting thing about beautiful experiences is that they do not always end when the moment passes... Sometimes, what remains is a feeling.. You remember how you felt, the expression on someone's face, the sound of laughter or the unexpected warmth of an ordinary afternoon... You may not remember every detail but you remember that for a little while, everything felt lighter and perhaps that is what makes certain experiences beautiful... They leave something behind that you can return to mentally whenever life becomes overwhelming..

I also think beauty is deeply personal.. What makes me happy might mean absolutely nothing to another person. Someone might look at a particular moment and see nothing special, while another person sees a memory they will carry for years.

We should probably stop comparing our beautiful experiences with those of other people... Not every beautiful moment needs an audience. Not every happy experience needs to be posted online. Not every meaningful memory needs to become a photograph.

Some things are beautiful simply because we were there to experience them.

Maybe We Should Pay More Attention

If there is one thing I would take away from this reflection, it is that we should become more attentive to the ordinary moments around us.

We are not always going to have extraordinary days. We will have disappointments, unfinished plans, financial struggles, and moments when the future feels uncertain but even in those seasons, there can be something worth appreciating.... A familiar voice, A warm meal, A genuine smile, Someone who remembers to check on you.. A mother dancing without worrying about tomorrow.. Maybe the most beautiful thing we can experience is the reminder that life is still happening, even while we are busy trying to figure it out and sometimes, that is enough to make an ordinary month memorable.

I can not agree less that genuine beautiful moments lasts even after the experiences. Humans are mostly moved by big achievements, we don't necessarily see small wins as progress and something worth celebrating. This is why mot people are unhappy and depressed

I enjoyed reading through.
