I am living in a city which is not a big metro city but yes has almost all the modern facilities were required like good hospitals, education institutes, market etc. Few back only I shifted here and before that I was living in on e of the top 4 cities of my Country. The one thing I observed their was that everyone on the city was just running. The run started form the morning and ends in the night when they go back o the bed for night sleep. This was some time make me thing that we are here to live the life but that is not happening, Some one told me that we should work to live, but should not live for work. And this was happening in those big metro cities. People comes to the metro cities thinking they will get work and they will have a better life. The first part they for sure got here that is the work, but I doubt that they have the better life. Running form morning to evening is not a good life, not getting time for the family is not a good life, not taking care of your health (because you do not have time for exercise) is not a good life. Their are many reason I do not call it a good life as I have mentioned a few only here. When I was working in the metro city fortunately I got a rented home very close to my company and it took only 20 min for me to reach company in the mourning and similar time in then evening to come back home. But not everyone is luck to have their home near to their work area. One of my senior was living far away form the company and everyday he was traveling more then two hours for one side, in this way approximately traveling for more then four hours and to reach office on time he need to follow the strict time management. Think of his life in metro city where major time which he was suppose to spend with his family was wasted in the traveling. Over the time my traveling time was also increased because of the increase of the traffic in my route but still it was very less as compare to two hours. This is the one big disadvantage of living in a metro city, the less time for yourself and the traffic.

Most of the population in my county is living in the rural area if we check the stats then in tear 2011 Census their were 833.09 million people living in rural areas and 377.11 million in urban areas out to total population of 1.21 billion, in terms of percentage its 68.84% for rural and 31.16% in urban. India has good fertile land and majority of the population is depending on the agriculture and that is the one major reason that the majority of people living in the rural area. Their is slight trend in trend as by 2023 the population in urban area has been increased by 2.19%. The young population has been shifting to urban area for more job opportunity and better facilities.
If I talked about my village then I must says that it has almost all facilities which required for daily day in day out life, we have 24 hour electricity available, the big water tank for public water facility and each home has their own borewell also so no issue of fresh water supply, one clinic id sone one got sick (of course for major problem we are still depends on the big hospitals in the city), the school up to senior secondary education, the network coverage for mobile and internet is also available. With all those facility we can live in the village comfortably and to be honest with much peace as compare to the hectic city life. If I got a chance and do not have to worry about earning the money then definitely I will love to be part of rural life. The fresh air, the fresh food without any alternation (and we can grow our own food also), the calm environment are some major reason I preferer to be in rural life, but as a family man I have to listen to the opinion of my family also. My wife was born in city and I guess she will preferer to be in city only but my personal preference will be rural life only.
