It feels good to make it to another year, who else feels like it wasn't quite long before we made last year's goals, and now here we are making another. I wasn't one to make goals at the beginning of the year not until I got motivated here on Hive as a newbie on the importance of setting goals, and not just any goals but smart goals and I can testify to how beneficial setting these smart goals and working towards achieving them motivates us every time.

Last year, I made quite some goals and was impressed with how I was able to achieve most of them, some of which was being a daily author, which I tried to meet up with but due to how hectic and time-consuming my job can be sometimes as a designer, I couldn't meet up with this goal, but was sure I tried a lot on this part, especially looking at my hive activity recap for the year 2024, making 424 post throughout the year isn't easy and I feel glad to have put in the effort, also looking at my payout in all my post this year, I feel impressed and motivated to continue giving my best.

Moving on to my goals for the year 2025, just like I made in the year 2024, I won't be settling for less, and hope to be a daily author this year, one thing I've realized about goal setting is that, as long we determine and work towards a goal there is always a chance of surpassing such goal and when we don't hit the goal at least we would be close to achieving it and be proud of how far we've gone at the end of the year.

Another goal I strongly hope to achieve this year is getting my yearly power-up badge, by powering at least one hive everyday of the year 2025, this won't stop me from participating in HPUD in some of the months I can, investing in one's hp by staking is one passive way of saving/growing our hive account, I currently have 2400 hp staked and hope to double this number to at least 5k hp goal by the end of the year. I had to deal with lots of financial challenges last year that had me power down at some point, so far, I've been able to clear most of it and hope to do more savings this year as financial stability is more attainable when we take our savings serious, not only powering up hive , I hope to save more HBD this year too, I know challenges are parts of life still, I hope they don't come pressing as much as I had to face last year.

As time goes on, I sure would add to this list Of goals, I pray this year becomes favorable to us all, and may we look back to how far we've come at the end of the year in good health feeling proud of our accomplishment for the year. Wishing everyone the very best this year.
