I remember the first time I was attended to by a machine customer care instead of the usual fine aunty or uncle who you would have to wait for in a long queue before you get attended to because they have to do their job slowly and meticulously so they don't make mistakes because they are human after all.

Such time-draining activities made me detest going to the bank, (thankfully, we have bank apps now that have helped take away that unpleasant journey to the bank) those long queues were particularly what I dreaded, but in case where you have to get your debit card replaced, we still have no choice than visit the bank.

On this day, instead of going right into the bank and waiting my turn to get attended to, fill out the forms and all, the security personnel after inquiry and knowing my reason for the bank visit, calmly directed me to a machine to input my details and in less than a minute I had a new debit card, just outside the bank premises, you can imagine my joy of not having to waste the precious time I didn't even have waiting.

Then imagine having all of those benefits at home, having a machine or robots do my house chores, cooking, taking care of the kids, and all of the other activities that would usually be exhausting, especially as a wife and mum, without any doubt, I would gladly jump on this opportunity if it presents itself.

Today for instance, I know how many hours I spent doing the laundry and resetting the house, because no matter how tidy you keep the house, as long as you have little kids, there will still be a mess to tidy the next day, and this routine never stops, coupled with being a working mum, it gets very exhausting trying to keep up that even before now I've always wished I had help, but since I'm not into getting a maid, I just have to bear my crosses alone.

The only duty I won't totally leave in the hands of robots is spending quality time with my children, especially at this very young age because this is a very delicate age where you get to teach, correct, and train your kids properly to grow into responsible adults, yes, machines are intelligent, but they can't offer the emotional care and support a child needs at this age.

I see some people say they would still do the cooking of meals, try cooking every day, different meals and making sure it's balanced every 365 or 366 days in a year and still come back to repeat such, for me, as long as the robot cooks healthy and delicious meals for the family and myself, I won't bother stressing myself in that aspect, unless on special days where I just really feel like it. No more forced cooking even when I'm exhausted after the day's work, no more early morning waking up just to prepare breakfast, because robot would take care of that, just imagining it is giving me joy 😄

Having all of those responsibilities taken away would give me enough time to focus on self-development in areas where I've pended due to lack of time, this included my career and business, I also get to have more of my me-time for relaxation which I hardly get. So yeah, you can count me in.
