Happy weekend, dear friends on Hive, I hope you are all having a great day wherever you are. It's another exciting edition of the Hive learners creative Sunday, and I sure have an interesting DIY fun project to share with you. It's the making of a fingerless glove. I recently made a beautiful Prom dress for a friend's daughter. To add more unique details to her dress, I decided to make these gloves, and they sure add the extra details.
Gloves are a fashionable item that has been for existence for a long time, it's not only wedding couples that wear them, and another interesting thing is that they can be styled with any fabric of your choice.
To make these gloves, the materials used are:
Your fabric, I made use of shining organza fabric
Matching coloured thread
Taperule
Scissors.
Measurements needed depend on the length you desire for your gloves and also your round upper measurement, so it would be easy for your hands to pass through. If you are using a stretchy fabric, you could make it fitted, but if your fabric isn't stretchy like mine, make sure to leave an ease allowance.

Then, turning it to the other side, here is how it looks,
