Special appreciation to the management for their efforts in ensuring an engaging session on this platform always. And for this edition comes with another informative and intriguing theme which focuses on the issue of internship paid or unpaid.

Interns shouldn't be taken for granted at all because both parties tends to have great benefits on this. I have some varied opinions that interns should be paid except otherwise. Internship are platforms that helps most people in the modern age to make impacts. Interns normally create a learning environment where one learns new things from the company. I have seen some interns that I thought they were permanent staff it was later I realized that they were on internship. Their performance was quite outstanding. Having this kind of personality, does it mean they shouldn't be paid? Does it mean they should keep working like an elephant without a dime in their pockets? It won't be good at all. In as much as they are gaining experience and building more capacity through the organization, I know the organization as well tap from the abundance of their wealth of their knowledge.
There are certain companies that leverages on interns and don't bother to employ permanent staff so that they would be able to curtail their financial budgets. Most at times they end up giving them peanuts whereas the kind of services they provide outweighs even what the normal staff can do at a particular time. Companies should not exploit interns rather they should consider them as humans and give them what would motivate them to offer more and better services. A worker deserves his wages.
All interns supposed to be paid oooo. There companies what they make during internship is twice what they would make in a year. Many banks and other companies today boost of their productivity and profitability because of interns. They spend less and have more profit. How would you allow somebody on earth to labor and make all the necessary inputs in your organization and leave such individual without paid. When interns aren't paid it means such organization are just exploiting the potential without paying any sacrifices.
I could remember my days when I went for Youth service in one of the northern states. I was given a class to teach. Infact I went extra miles to start free lesson just to ensure that I covered the syllabus. The school then refused to employ more staff because most of us serving were very good at what we do. Thank God the management were able to come up with a little appreciation token at the end of each month which motivated us to do more. There is no human being on earth that doesn't like to be motivated.
When internship is not paid, it can easily lead to exploitation or rather alter opportunities to those who can't access such. There should be a balance meaning a paid internship helps an individual to learn, grow and make reasonable impacts which in turns helps to develop the company as well.
As I conclude, interns should be paid and not to be used as agents of exploitation please. The intern and company benefits from each other even though the company benefits more therefore every gift ought to be appreciated appropriately.
Thanks so much for reading through my entry for this edition.

Those companies who are just depending on intern students are not doing well at all because these students are not expert. They should be given a little chance to learn under someone's supervision.
All the same I believe they should be paid even though if it is small amount to help in their transport and feeding.
