Best Day: Reunion!

With everybody writing about reunion in HL, I thought a lot about any memorable reunion, but since I changed my phone last year, most images of special reunions are lost. Also, I do have a personal life and public life. For example, I don't show images of people in my blog without asking permission or about my family. With these restrictions in content creation and the loss of most images, it was harder for me to write about this topic.

Luckily, I was thinking about what to write on this topic for 2 days but when I woke up last Thursday, I called my friend whom I didn't meet in a while. In this way, HL actually helped me do a reunion in real life and I really enjoyed it.

My day started with waking up around 8:30 and I had two quizzes that day. Software Project management and usability engineering. I met my friends half an hour before the quiz and I wasn't sure if that is the only reunion or if nature had other plans for us. I took my class and they completed some other work at the university. With a lot of management experience questions like "why do projects fail", "creeps in management" and some other basic questions, I answered them all very well. It was too easy for me and most of my time was wasted remembering the names of "business creep, effort creep, hope creep, and feature creep". Yes, sometimes my cyborg brain data also get corrupted.

I was very happy with how I handled the questions. Next, we learned about the "Golden Rule" in usability engineering. It is kind of like a mathematical standard of what looks good to human eyes based on the fibonacci series. It was a fun lecture in which we matched certain images with 1:1.6 in the real world and web development (I might write a complete blog about the golden rule someday because it's an interesting concept). Then we were presented with the quiz and the question were once again basic for me. "Rule of thirds" and "Fritz Law", both the scenarios and memorization part were attempted very well by me. Since I did my quizzes good with almost 95% to 100% accuracy, I was already in a good mood.

I texted my friend which I was meeting after a long time. We four friends again met. Since I was already thinking about how to write about the reunion topic, I convince them to eat outside. Since they were already mentioned in one of my blogs so they know about hive and blogging.

I was already happy and now going out with friends to eat was a plus point in my day. To be honest, It feels good to eat out enjoying and know our day went productive as we were preparing content for the reunion anyways.

YAY! Since few people in my life are shown publicly on my blogs so here you have it. Lurk all you want. We first visited a local shop and rejected the idea to eat zinger there. Then we decided to visit Burger King as it was near but oppps it was closed, lol. A shop next to it was Subway but we soon found out they don't sell zingers haha. Then we googled OPTP (another popular franchise) and the image you see is of us enjoying AC after going here and there like sheep.

Yup, I don't let them touch it unless I get a good picture. It was a hustle trying to adjust the lighting and frame. Lurk all you want, food will not come out of the screen xD.

Believe me, the images are even better than the taste. Nature knows how much they had to wait in order for me to take a good photo. These are popular fries of OPTP (one potato two potato) franchise and they are basically famous for their fries. But I do go to the supermarket to buy frozen fries of OPTP so was a pretty regular thing for me. Still, it was fun eating one chip at a time just like we are guests haha. If I cooked them at home, I wouldn't take less than 2 in one bite xD.

Here you go, One Potato Two Potato (OPTP) cup and Pepsi. I personally prefer DEW but they didn't have it. Still, the simplest picture you see above was a result of 15 clicks from different angles, frames, and lighting. Also, filling the cup full to a point no more drink would be added was another hustle. Now lurk as much as u want to the details of the image haha. You are now thirsty, right? Power of social media marketing, now ignore Pepsi and buy yourself a DEW xD.

Do you want more sauce? hmmm. Adjusting the zinger by lifting it up a little bit to make it look much bigger than the original size was another hustle. My personal favorite picture in the whole reunion was the first image. Usually, images look good with full subject/object in the view but I liked the way it's kind off cropped from the sides.

Now what you see is "LASSI", the national drink of my country Pakistan. But did you see the strange colors of all 4? For the first time in forever, we all tasted flavored LASSI. I and my one friend took pineapple flavor while the other 2 picked almonds and vanilla flavor. The topping of the white stuff you see on LASSI is yogurt hard white stuff, eeehhh what are you thinking with white and hard? I didn't say anything or do I?

It was one of my best days and thanks HL for organizing the Reunion topic contest. It gave me a chance to meet my friends and made my day even better.
