Learning, Unlearning, and Growing Beyond Hive

To my always friends from the HiveLearners community, my best greetings!

This year really started differently. I took a vacation from HIVE for many days, stopped posting, and managed to disconnect a bit from the computer. We were asked about what we are learning or unlearning, and I think one of the things I am doing is letting go of HIVE a little. I'm not saying that I will step away, but I am in a comfortable situation with the place I have reached so far.

Right at the beginning, when I discovered the community, one of the people I interacted with was @matheusggr, and I confess that his presence is missed around here. At the time I thought, "wow, I want to grow as much as this guy!" and I achieved that last year when I reached around 15K HP. Then I stopped focusing on HP growth and started relaxing a bit more. After all, this is not a job!

For those who didn’t follow me, in 2025 I did the Yearly Author challenge from HiveBUZZ, which consists of publishing a text every day of the year. It was really challenging and helped me a lot to learn how to write better. I feel very comfortable creating texts about various subjects, something that before I would have difficulty even starting. Today the words flow much better. And the HiveLearners community itself helped me a lot with that, because there were many participations in the weekly writing contest, and in some of them I received honorable mentions, which made me very proud of my development!

I ended up turning to new learnings and at the moment I am writing texts outside of web3. I resumed an old blog that I had written before, and taking advantage of my writing skills, I only needed to develop my knowledge with the interface. Now I also work with Google Analytics, which I have already integrated into several solutions that I created. I learned how to make AI program things, and I built some interesting projects as a hobby. One of them is publicly available, which is a Dashboard for the Brazilian HIVE-BR community. In it we can see who the Brazilian members (and foreign friends) are who support the small Brazilian community by delegating HP to the community account, which distributes votes on selected content.

Besides writing texts, I am studying electricity and electronics focused on urban mobility. It may sound repetitive, but I also write about this on web2. I am creating a repository of content for public consultation on this topic. Unfortunately I am not good with web2 social networks, so I had to learn how to use the basics of Instagram in order to build a bridge between the dynamic content of today’s social networks and the static nature of web2.

These are digital skills that I have been improving, but I have not stopped doing my small residential mischief: carpentry has improved! The production of furniture with reclaimed wood remains active! Just this week I managed to collect a plywood board that could turn into a low coffee table at any moment! Home maintenance activities are also a force for change and make us increasingly seek to learn a little bit of everything. We have no choice: either we chase it ourselves, or we have to pay someone. This is very complicated for those who live drowning in the household budget, like me!

Aos meu sempre amigos da comunidade HiveLearners, minhas melhores saudações!

Esse ano começou realmente diferente, eu tirei férias da HIVE por muitos dias, fiquei sem postar, e consegui me desligar um pouco do computador. Fomos questionados sobre o que estamos aprendendo ou desaprendendo, e acho que uma das coisas que eu estou fazendo é desapegar da HIVE um pouco. Não estou dizendo que vou me afastar, mas estou numa situação confortável com o lugar onde cheguei até o momento.

Bem no começo, quando descobri a comunidade, uma das pessoas que interagi foi @matheusggr e confesso que faz falta sua presença por aqui. Na época pensei "puxa quero crescer tanto quanto esse cara!" e consegui isso no ano passado, quando cheguei nas casa dos 15KHP. Então parei de focar em crescimento de HP e passei a relaxar um pouco mais. Afinal, isso aqui não é trabalho!

Para quem não me acompanhou, ano de 2025 eu fiz o desafio Yearly Author, da HiveBUZZ, que consiste em publicar um texto todos os dias do ano. Foi realmente desafiador, e me ajudou muito a aprender escrever melhor. Estou muito à vontade para criar textos sobre diversos assuntos, coisa que antes eu teria dificuldade para começar a escrever. Hoje as palavras fluem muito melhor. E a própria comunidade HiveLearners me ajudou muito nisso, pois foram muitas participações no concurso de escrita semanal, sendo que em algumas delas obtive menção honrosa, o que me deixou muito orgulhoso do meu desenvolvimento!

Acabei me voltando para novos aprendizados e no momento estou fazendo a escrita de textos fora da web3. Retomei um antigo blog que eu havia escrito, e aproveitando as habilidades com texto, precisei apenas desenvolver meu conhecimento com a interface. Agora também trabalho com google analitcs, que já integrei em várias soluções que criei. Aprendi a mandar a IA programar, e construi algumas coisas interessantes, como hobby. Uma delas está disponível para acesso público, que é um Dashboard da comunidade Brasileira HIVE-BR. Nele podemos ver quem são os membros brasileiros (e amigos estrangeiros) que dão suporte à pequena comunidade brasileira através de delegação de HP para a conta comunitária, que distribui votos nos conteúdos selecionados.

Tirando a escrita de textos, estou estudante elétrica e eletrônica voltada para mobilidade urbana. Parece repetitivo, mas também escrevo sobre isso na web2. Estou criando um repositório de conteúdos para consulta pública, nesta temática. Infelizmente não sou bom em redes sociais web2, então: precisei aprender usar o básico do instagram para poder construi uma ponte entre os conteúdos dinâmicos das redes atuais com a coisa estática que é a web2.

São conhecimentos digitais que tenho aprimorado, mas não deixei de também realizar minhas pequenas travessuras residenciais: carpintaria foi aprimorada! A produção de móveis com madeiras de demolição permanece ativa! Essa semana mesmo consegui coletar uma tampo de madeira compensada que poderá se transformar em uma mesa baixa de centro a qualquer momento! As atividades de manutenção da casa também são força de mudança e nos fazem buscar cada vez mais aprender um pouco de tudo. Não temos opção: ou corremos atrás, ou precisamos pagar para alguém. Isso é muito complicado para os que vivem afogados no orçamento doméstico, como eu!
