There is time for everything. Don't mix love with business

As much as they say love is a beautiful thing, I am not going to mix my business with love again. When I did that years ago, the outcome nearly killed me. I am not going to mix love with my business. The holy book says there is time for everything during the time of business. Do your business; don't mix the two together.
The new me is that I don't mix leisure with business. Our business nearly died in the previous years; currently, there is nothing like our business being my business, not ours.
An Igbo man will always say there is no brother in business. This statement is 100% right for you to grow in business. You need to set some limits. My mentor will always tell me that if you want to go far in business, don't mix relationships with your business. Take your feelings and emotions out of our business.
My experience
After secondary school, my brother opened a provision shop for me. The shop was really doing well. I met my boyfriend, Kelvin. At first, he was really good. He was supporting me. Most times, I will leave the shop for him and go to the market to purchase goods. I don't have to trust him with everything. It was unknown to me that Kelvin was just trying to earn my trust. Back then, he would eat whatever he wanted to eat from my shop; I didn't see it as anything. I was so blinded by love that I never knew that he was stealing from me. I was so careless that I opened up anything about my business to him.
At a point in my business, I don't see money, but I make sales. Each time I ask him where the money is, he always comes up with an excuse. One day, I went to the market to buy stock. Kelvin had packed all the money in my shop and gone away with my two ATM cards. Before I knew it, I was receiving a debt SMS. That particular day, I felt like killing myself. I called his number, but it was not going through. There is no place to find Kelvin. When my brother heard about the incident, he nearly killed me; if not for my mom, I could have been in the land of death.
Is it an experience I will like to try again?
God forbid, I can never pray to see myself in the same situation because it was really hell for me. The heat from my family nearly killed me. If not for our second son, who gave me money to start up another business, that experience really made my family lose trust in me. That was a bad experience. You see, this time around, the relationship is very far from my business. I will not like to repeat the same mistake.
Lesson learnt?
Never bring relationships into your business, no matter how much love the person creates, because that will limit your business.
When it comes to business, you need to be serious with your business, no matter how small it is.
Never trust anyone with your business; it was trust that really spoiled my business.
You see this new opportunity i will never bring love affairs into my business. There is time for everything.
Business is business; don't mix it with pressure.

There is always time for everything and we must not allow one to mix with the other. It was obvious Kelvin was there to betray your trust in him and he did something wrong. This experience of yours would surely be a lesson which cannot be repeated.

Wow this is so pathetic. Sorry for the huge loss dear and for that son of hell, he will surely meet his downfall because his act was to crush you but thankfully help comes from the second son of your family. No one can be trusted at all.
did you later see kelvin again? or you never crossed paths since he left with your two atm? and you called him your bf, you don't know his house, friends or family members?
I didn’t cross path with him of cause i went to his house i didn’t see him
