The world is not overpopulated; we think it is because people choose to stay in developed areas, which makes such places crowded. We have a vast area of land that is yet untouched. People do not want to go there because they feel they won't be safe there, they can be easily harmed by the evil ones, and no one will hear about it.

I do not have a problem or see anything bad with people giving birth to many children. What annoys me is when I see people who can't properly take care of themselves giving birth to 6 children.
One thing I have noticed is that the rich often give birth to fewer children because they want them to have a good life; most of the time, the number of kids they have is less than 4, and this is something they have planned accordingly before they start having them and once they have the numbers, they prevent anymore from coming unlike the poor ones that do not have a limit nor do they have a plan to take care of the innocent child.
In the present Nigerian economy, a person earning 50k as a salary has no business with giving birth, this is an honest truth that people might react negatively to, but we have to think well, apply logic before we attempt things like this, so we won't bring the innocent babies into the world to suffer.
I know a couple that the wife is a full house wife and the husband is a security man who earns less than 100k monthly, yet they have 5 children, the man's salary won't be enough to cater for the family and this would make the children to enter street at an early age to survive, most of the boys we see as tout are from such background.

Why do I feel providing incentives to stop family from giving birth to battalion won't work, I see it as a waste of resource, what the people need is knowledge on how to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancy, the government can increase their workers that teaches adult about pregnancy, family planning, safe sex which would reduce the rate of unwanted pregnancy... Some ladies do not know how to calculate their safe period, while some do not even know that something like that exists.
Aside that, giving people something to encourage them not to do something is a less effective way to stop them from doing it, it is best to put it in a law that this is the max number a family can have and there should be a grave consequence that violate that law, this will keep everyone in order.

Someone needs to advise that man on family planning. Any sex can lead to pregnancy, and since they can't stay away from sex then family planning is the next. It's an irresponsible behavior to be very honest
It is...I do not support family planning though because I heard it has side effects... Either they start becoming fat or they start missing their period... but there are other ways to prevent unwanted preg

I think except parents no one has the power to determine how many child need to bring in this world. At the present time I think people are well aware about the situation. Government can make awareness about it but can't control it.
