Vegetarians are people who do not eat meat or eat anything that comes from slaughtering other animals, I respect these people because they care about the life of other animals and do not want us to see them as food anymore.

I remember a few years ago when I still lived with my parent, we reared native hens and there was a time when I was interested in how they lay eggs and hatch their chicks, so I kept a record of one of our hens... When the hen hatched her eggs, she had 12 chicks and out of those 12, only 7 survived I picked interest in 1 out of the seven, it was smart and looked more attractive so I would feed this chick more out of the others.

Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, and the chick grew to become a white cock, there is a saying that the love humans have for a hen ends in the pot of soup, they show it love by feeding it and when it is big enough, they kill it and enjoy the laps and others...

In my case, it was different, I begged my dad not to kill this cock at some point and that they should kill the other which he listened to but still a few weeks later, when it was the only cock left, The family came back for it and I was so pained, I didn't want to lose it but it is what it is, it belongs to the family not me, anyway I ate out of the meat too.
