Whenever I see videos of people rearing wild animals as pets, the first thing that runs through my mind is why people risk their lives...

Wild animals will remain wild animals, the wild will never leave them, no matter how you tame them...Poverty has saved many people from embarking on such a perilous mission, cos rearing wild animals is not for poor people; they eat more than humans, and their food is expensive.
I often wonder what inspires those who do it; none of the domestic animals in the world attract them, but a wild animal that can kill them, and the most annoying part is hw they endanger the lives of others around their area, imagine the wild animal leaping out of the fence to attack the first passerby it comes across.
It is never okay to keep a wild animal that you can't control, or that can easily overpower you, even those who own these wild animals dare not get close to them when they are hungry for fear of being eaten.
I have never been to the zoo, so I have not seen any of these wild animals, but based on the documentary that I have watched, I know these animals are big and can easily overpower a human, and they are stronger than us...

I watched a sad video on YouTube of a mentally unstable man who entered a tiger enclosure in the zoo, and the way the tiger bit on his neck and dragged him away effortlessly, confirms my thought that these animals are way stronger than us.
As a human, hw will you feel if you were locked up for the rest of your life and only getting fed, your lifespan would reduce cos you didn't have the freedom to explore the way you love. Secondly, they are being given dead animal meat, which takes away the fun; they love to hunt their meal, and we take that away from them.
The government should ban the act of owning a wild animal, as it not only endangers the idiot who owns it, but also endangers the lives of neighbours and other people who visit the street...
If someone in my area dares to raise a wild animal, I am leaving the street Asap before my loved ones hear stories that touch the heart.
Humans have always been the problem; some animals are already extinct due to how we hunt them, while some are close to extinction, we are at the top of the food chain because of our smart brains that helps us in creating weapons that those other animals can't withstand, now we also tame them, those that belong to the wild for fun which is wrong... Let the wild stay in the wild

The idea of having wild animals as pets is risky. I do wonder whether they have them have a spare life elsewhere
Very risky, they lost their mind
I just came across your post now and guess what, I wrote this exact line, cause I wonβt be caught up in that situation ππ
People need to know when to draw the line
I believe many of us have the same mindset , the only thing that wil stop many is if they don't have the money to relocate xd

Keeping wild animals as pet is tickling time bomb. Anytime, it can be a threat for us.
A threat to them, I won't keep it and I won't be in the area where they are kept lol
Wild animals are not meant to be pets, and keeping them can be dangerous for both people and the animals.
